Remarks :
Various factors influenced me to be admitted into this esteemed organisation such as its past achievements and placement records which stand out to be outstanding, its greenery surrounding will attract you as well as the tradition of the Silk City, support from the faculty is too much as well you will get a chance to involve in various disciplines and particular. When I was admitted there were no such entrance exams I was admitted to a college-based JEE entrance exam but this year college turned into a University which is a great achievement so from this year there is an exam named NISTE along with JEE to take admission into the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have opted for Computer Science Engineering as I was very much interested in working on the profile of software as well and the market demand encouraged me to opt for this course as it is a special type of branch where you can learn every domain quite easily and efficiently. Most of the faculty are from IIT and NIT they have a very large specification of knowledge in every field of the domain which will help you to learn the concept more easily with various practical skills and more. On a period of 2 months, there will be an Internal exam of 50 marks which holds 30% in your finals during the internal, you will also come across Assignment, quizzes and a surprise test which holds another 20% and at the end you will be giving your semester exam of 100 marks which holds 50% of your total marks. There are also lab exams which hold another 100% by the mix of theory and lab the total is 200 and based on this your grade will be decided
Internships Opportunities :
As a computer science engineer, you will mostly get theoretical Internships rather than practical ones. The college itself organizes a 1-month internship every once a year. I have recently done an internship with NALCO on web development and at NIT Silchar on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Placement Experience :
To become eligible for good companies you should have a CGPA of 8.0 on average to grab good seats and packages. Various companies visit the campus such as Cognizant, Accenture, Zenus and all as well as mega job fairs are also organised during which 30-40% get selected. The highest LPA for the previous year was 24 lpa and the average turns out to be 5-6lpa. around 80% of students get placed during the in-campus placement. I have a dream to work as a software engineer so currently, I'm focusing on that as well as I am preparing for UPSE and other civil services examinations.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For Each Year I pay the tuition fees of Rs 130000. This fee is paid in the semester which is around 60000/- per semester excluding the registration fees. The registration fees cost around 2500-3000 as per the number of papers in a particular semester. There are no other changes than this but an additional fee of rs. 10000 is submitted for the counselling purpose from which the 5000 gets transferred into your college fees. If you are planning to stay at a hotel it will cost you around 50000 per year extra which includes the mess fees. I you acquire a good ranking in JEE/OJEE then you can avail of the PWD quota for which the complete year fees will cost you around 40000/- There are so many scholarships available for which you need to qualify various criteria such as sibling scholarship (if any of your brother or sister is studying there then you can avail it) other scholarships also include such as PWD, backward class, ranking based on your board exam
Campus Life :
There are a variety of clubs you can get involved in such as technical and non-technical clubs which will again provide you with numerous ways to showcase your talent and spirit in various events that are organised by the college and outsourcing too. There are two main festivals or events celebrated at the college one is the largest Tech fest referred to as Sankalp which is celebrated in March and the other is the foundation day of the college. There are also various types of events and programs conducted on a day-to-day basis in which you can be a part. There is a large library section where you will be getting your course-related books as well as for various preparations such as UPSC and all. A large indoor stadium is provided where you can play plenty of indoor games and all as well as an inter-college tournament is also conducted by NIST before Sankalp. The club are assigned will respected faculties to guide the students properly.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for the hostel as I'm a locality but I can say it costs around 50,000-60,000 along with food and all. Overall quality of the food and menu was good and planned by keeping a proper diet in mind. A special dinner is served every Sunday and a grand dinner is organized on the last Sunday of every month.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
