- The main thing is i don't like the class rooms are not professionally digitalized wifi facility are not available in some areas
- Number of teachers is low. And some teachers are in contractual service
Remarks :
The main factors in choosing Dhemaji College are the beautiful campus and the historical representation of the college service from my grandfather's time. And the college fee structure is very low. And the college organised many events, fest which attracts me. The teachers of the college are highly qualified And good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The experience is pretty good. The course I have chosen is b.sc physics which is a very good subject the teachers of our department are very kind. The course duration is 3 years. And every six months exam is held.
Internships Opportunities :
I am now a final-year student. So now don't go to any internship program. but after completing the degree I will go to the internship. In 2 years I got the opportunity to do an internship at Oil India but some health problems I can't go.
Placement Experience :
Dhemaji College is a degree college. Only BA and BSc are available. It's a normal degree course not any professional course.so The college can't provide on-campus placement offers. But it provides graduate students go to internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
All students who are financially backward and are not able to pay the admission fee. They get the scholarship under the NSP. All ST, SC, and OBC students get NSP scholarships. Other regional scholarships are available.
Campus Life :
Our college faculties are good and highly qualified professionals. They interact with all of us. But in the college, some departments haven't permanent teachers. So the number of teachers is low. It is a problem is some of the departments.
Hostel Facilities :
The campus is good and big .. every facility is available as a government institution. playground, gym, canteen everything is available. The college organised many events and fest. Our college week is the best cultural night many popular singers were came to our college

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
