For my college, NPAT is the entrance exam that has to be given for taking admission in undergraduate courses. The good aspect about NMIMS is the crowd and opportunities there and the bad aspect about it is their fees and no campus life in mumbai and navi mumbai campuses
The curriculum of the college is quite interesting as it gets updated on a regular interval and the reason for choosing this course was my interest in marketing and as this sector is growing rapidly day by day, it will cater to the best service sector
The placement in this course basically is quite low as of now but we expect this to grow rapidly in the coming 2-3 years as the gentry of this course were never opting for placement as they had their own businesses but now things are changing.
The fees for my batch in NMIMS school of branding and advertising for one year is 5,50,000. This includes only the tuition fees and rest everything has to be paid seperately just like hostel,pg or any other facilities taken. They reduce their fees in second year by 6000 rupees and increase it by 50000 for the next batch to come. So that means students who will enroll for this course in 2024 will pay 6 lakhs per year and students who will enroll in 2025 will pay 6.5 lakhs per year as their tuition fees.
There's no as such campus life in NMIMS mumbai just because the college is just your course. In NMIMS mumbai, it's divided into different sub schools under it and each school hosts different courses. So this makes the campus life totally flop. This course helds it's classes in mithibai building which is the worst thing. In mithibai building, there's almost 6-7 colleges running at the same time.
I opted for a private hostel named Hive Hostels and the experience was quite good. The food there was better than others and there were no unnecessary restrictions. They also provided the laundry services and live counter facilities with unlimited wifi
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
