As I wanted to go my college frok.the same place I live in so there I choose graphic Era as it is better than other colleges in dehradun. No test were taken during admission yeah but discussion happened about the fee structure and the course I was willing to take and in the end a form was given about the personal details.
I was already interested in studying economics so that made me choose economics hons and taking about the facilities they are great ... really sweet, understanding and polite. And we have 2 exams on 1 semester...1 is the kid semester examination and other is the end semester examination.
The examination fee is -3500 Transportation fee is-1500 Sports fee is-500 Library fee-500 Tuition fee is approx -45000 etc various other fee and that gives a total of -70000 annually Which makes is not to expensive and also not to cheap college.
Life is campus to be honest us not so great but yeah it's okay okay ..and taking about functions and fest so graphic Era have a major fest in june which is the graph fest and they call really popular singers and rappers and it's quite a Big event...but after this there are less of events in the college. The college does not focuses on extracurricular activities that much and have restricted timming was using the playing area
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
