There is 21 day internship policy in our university. Every student who is doing an internship must do it for 21days either online or offline. If any student needs internship letter from the university then the adminstration provides the same. 4th and 5th year students can apply for non day policy if they are doing offline internship during the working days.

Every year many recruiters come to the campus to provide placements to the students and some include SAM, CAM associates and also some from the banking sector like HDFC etc. highest package could be around 12-14 lakhs LPA and the average package is around 8-10 LPA. The Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC) runs the recruitment drive on the campus. There’s also the Internships Coordination Committee (ICC) that makes sure students apply to internships during the 2-month of summer break and 1-month winter break so that the students can get some practical knowledge by working as interns in either courts or law firms as per their interest in the subject. Internships also play a major role during placements as for the internships you get to meet a lot of recruiters who can recruit you there or it will upgrade your CV. For now, I’m not sure about my plans depending on placement I get.
Yes, I have opted for internships. You can apply for internships through university or you can do it individually. Through university, there’s ICC - Internship Coordination Committee which helps you choose an internship at any law firm from their suggestions. They show you and help you along the process of applying to any company. Individually if you are willing you can either work at any advocate if you know in a court process and can get recommended to any law firm or any office for good corporate exposure. Subjects that are offered in law firms include corporate law, tax law, company law and more and some courts through which you will learn constitutional law, IPC, CrPC and many more. Some companies that provide internships include Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, Suarana and Surana m, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and CAM, Tatva Legal, Trilegal and many more companies that offer internships to law students.
