Yogi Vemana University (YVU) was established in 2006 and is accredited with NAAC B with a scale of 2.5. It is a state University recognised by UGC. It is located 15km from Kadapa City. The University has a decent education system that helps students complete their degree with full determination and dedication. College offers various UG, PG Diploma courses. It also offers BTech, MBA, MCA degrees. Students often seek admission to MBA and MCA courses in this University. Yogi Vemana University Scholarship

The college promotes the scholarship facility to the students whose family income is less than INR 2 LPA. Their children are eligible for the scholarship. Various government scholarships are provided to the students of YVU. State Government provides scholarship to both types of students i.e., to the day scholars and the hostellers. The hostellers get more relaxation in the fees like the monthly fees of the mess for fooding for the students is paid by the state government. Day scholars receive nearly INR 800 per month.
