Annamacharya University Courses and Fees

More than 45 courses are offered through 12 programme families in engineering, science, commerce, law, physiotherapy and agriculture. B.Tech is the main programme and includes eleven specialisations, each carrying the same total fee of INR 2,40,000.

With a total fee of INR 40,500, the five-year integrated LLB (Hons) programme is among the more affordable law options in Andhra Pradesh for students from Kadapa and the wider Rayalaseema region. The university also runs B.Sc programmes in Medical Laboratory Technology and Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology to prepare students for allied healthcare work.

Annamacharya University Admission Process

Admission requirements vary by programme. State-quota B.Tech seats under Category A are allotted through AP EAPCET and the centralised APSCHE counselling process. The AP EAPCET rank calculation gives 75% weight to the entrance examination and 25% to Class 12 board marks.

B.Tech Admission

A valid AP EAPCET rank is compulsory for admission through the state counselling route. Applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The minimum aggregate is 45% for OC/BC students and 40% for SC/ST/PH students.

For M.Tech, students need a valid GATE or AP PGECET score and must participate in APSCHE counselling. MBA and MCA applicants follow the AP ICET admission route. MBA applicants from the OC/BC categories need an undergraduate degree with a 60% aggregate. PhD selection includes a university entrance test followed by an interview, and applicants must hold a relevant postgraduate degree with at least 55%.

Annamacharya University Placements

The university's Training and Placement Cell manages the yearly campus recruitment process. In 2024-25, employers selected 892 students from different programmes. The reported median annual salary was INR 5.10 LPA, and CSE-related branches received the strongest interest from recruiters.

DXC Technology made the largest number of offers by hiring 313 students. Hexaware was next with 195 placements. Mphasis, Legato Health Technologies and Decathlon also recruited from the campus. Most opportunities came from IT services, along with logistics and ITES roles for management and allied science students.

Students from ECE, EEE, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering receive opportunities in manufacturing and core engineering positions. Graduates of Computer Science, Data Science and AI/ML programmes enter analytics and IT support roles. Hospitals and rehabilitation centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana recruit BPT and allied health graduates.

Annamacharya University Scholarships

Annamacharya University Campus and Infrastructure

The university has a 60-acre campus in Rajampet, Kadapa District. Its academic facilities include eleven engineering departments, blocks for science and humanities, a school of law, an agriculture block, a physiotherapy institute, computing laboratories, research facilities and a central library. The campus supports 4,681 students and employs 290 faculty members.

Male and female students have separate on-campus accommodation. The yearly charge for Bahuda Girls Hostel is INR 80,000, and hostel facilities are also provided for boys. Rajampet railway station is about 2 km away, while buses connect the area with Kadapa, Nellore and Tirupati.
