GPREC Admission Process

AP EAPCET rank and APSCHE's online counselling process decide admission to B.Tech merit seats at GPREC. Applicants must have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics and obtained at least 45% aggregate. The minimum is 40% for SC and ST applicants. The college does not conduct a separate institute-level direct admission process for regular B.Tech seats. Andhra Pradesh reservation rules apply to OC, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, NCC, Sports and PH categories.

  2. Appear for AP EAPCET and obtain a valid rank.
  3. Register through the APSCHE counselling portal.
  4. Enter GPREC and the preferred engineering branches during option filling.
  5. Receive a seat according to AP EAPCET rank, submitted preferences, reservation rules and seat availability.

A separate management quota covers 15% of seats. These seats are available directly through the institute, with fees fixed by the Andhra Pradesh fee regulatory committee.

For M.Tech, applicants need a B.Tech or B.E. degree in the relevant field along with a valid AP PGECET or GATE score. PGECET-qualified students participate in APSCHE PG counselling. GATE-qualified applicants may enter through the APSCHE GATE quota or through a separate institute-level procedure. GPREC selects Ph.D applicants through its institute-level process.
