Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology or SRIT was established in 2008 at Rotarypuram Village in Ananthapuramu. It is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, and is affiliated with JNTU Anantapuramu. It is managed under the aegis of the Smt. Aluru Narayanamma Memorial Educational Society. It offers BTech and MTech courses. In 2024, SRIT Anantapur Ranking by India Today was 185 out of 253 engineering colleges.

SRIT Anantapur offers BTech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board. The final selection for Category A seats will be based on the AP EAPCET exam scores, and Category B seats will be filled through management quota. SRIT cutoff for AP EAPCET 2024 for BCB Category BTech admission ranges from 66148 - 174863 ranks for Round 1. The SRIT Anantpur Fee structure for BTech is INR 2.21 lakhs for all specializations.

SRIT Placement 2024-25 concluded with 138 students getting placed. The highest CTC offered was INR 9 LPA and the lowest CTC was INR 3.36 LPA. Some recruiters were TCS, Accenture, Qatar Airways, Deloitte, Wilco Source Systems, Savantis, SagarSoft, etc.
