KKHSOU UG Admissions 2024

The university offers five distinct programmes at the UG level, all with different specialisations. Below are the course-specific selection and eligibility requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

• BCA: a student must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a council or university recognized by the UGC with a grade in Mathematics or Computer Science.
• BBA: A candidate must have successfully completed their 10+2 exams (in any stream) from a board recognised by the UGC.
• BA, B.com, and BSW: A candidate must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a Council/University recognised by the UGC (in any stream, including the vocational stream).
• Candidates with Polytechnic Diplomas in any branch may also apply for admission.

Selection Criteria

 For all UG courses, the authorities will choose the final candidate from their own merit list. Candidates will be given a certain period of time from the university to submit the aforementioned documents.

Eligibility Criteria

• MA and M.Com: If a candidate has earned a BA or B.com from KKHSOU or another UGC-recognized university, he or she is qualified for admission to the MA and M.com programs.
• M.Sc IT: candidate must be graduated (BCA / B.Sc IT/B.SC Computer Science) with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level.
• MBA: Holder of a bachelor's degree (other than in the fine arts) from KKHSOU or another university approved by the UGC with a minimum overall grade point average of 40% is eligible for an MBA.

Selection Criteria

• MA, M.com and M.Sc IT: A student is chosen based on merit, and the institute determines the merit list.
• MBA: An applicant must have achieved success on the KKHSOU-CET.

Note: If a candidate has completed a BBA at KKHSOU or another institution recognized by it, has a MAT score of 500 or above, or has at least three years of managerial or supervisory experience, they may be excluded from taking the entrance exam.

Note: If a candidate has completed a PG Diploma in Business Management with 32 credits from any university that is accredited by the UGC and has 75% common courses, they are eligible for lateral admission into the MBA programme.

KKHSOU PhD and M.Phil Admissions 2024

Eligibility Criteria

• PhD: A applicant must hold a Master's degree with at least 55% overall marks, which equates to a grade of "B" on the UGC's 7-point scale, or a comparable degree from a foreign educational institution that has been approved by an assessment and accreditation agency.
• Additionally, those with a degree from a foreign educational institution that is deemed to be equal to an M.Phil. degree from an Indian university would also be considered qualified.
• M.Phil: Candidates with a master's degree or a professional degree that has been recognized as being equivalent to a master's degree, with a minimum cumulative percentage of 55% are eligible for an M.Phil.

 Selection Criteria

• PhD: Based on their performance on the KKHSOU-CET and vivs-voce, candidates are chosen.
• After passing their written exam, students must present their research project synopsis to a panel of specialists.

Note: Candidates who have an M.Phil. or who have passed the NET/SET are excluded from taking the entrance exam.

• M.Phil: Performance in the KKHSOU-CET, followed by a viva voce, determines a candidate's admission to the university.

Note: Candidates who have passed the UGC-NET or SET are exempt from taking the entrance exam.
