What I Liked

Peaceful life, good and helpful seniors, academic spaces, a dedicated library and an auditorium under construction
The University is taking up measures to ensure timely and good fests all round the year with different themes and also to invite various delegates for different events, such as the most recent Global Library Summit held from 3-7 Feb, 2025 which invited delegates from all over the world.

What I didn’t like

Lack of placement opportunities for now and the absence of a placement cell.
Lack of fests for now and limited funds for fests

Remarks:

The criteria for joining the college for BTech/Mtech is either JEE or SAU's own entrance test. They release different merit lists after which the students can pay the respective fee and secure admissions. The University is a government University under SAARC and so far as been an amazing experience.

International Law from South Asian University; whether or not to go for.

What I Liked

The first and the foremost thing that I like is the academic culture in SAU. Its like I enjoy studying here.
Secondly, the proactivess and kindness of professors makes it easy for me to not get overwhelmed with the kind of academic competition we have in the world out there.

What I didn’t like

The thing at times that gets on my nerve is the fact that the campus is located in a very remote area and the campus only has one canteen. Besides that there is nothing without 1km radius. There is a need more cafeteria.
Secondly, the wifi were yet to be installed when I came to the hostel and there was almost no network connection inside the room. However, the wifis are now installed.

Remarks:

The fact that, it is one of the best institute in India when it comes to International Law made me choose this universe. The professors of this department have a huge name in the academic market. Besides all these, if anyone wish to hone their research skills, this institute would be the best for them. To get into this university, I gave an entrance exam which is based on the basic fundamentals of International Law
