What’s New?

CUG offers 30 programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in various arts, science, and teaching streams. 

  • CU Gujarat Bachelor’s admissions are done through a Common University Entrance Test PG or CUET PG (formally known as CUCET) score followed by a counseling session. 
  • For a Master’s, students need to clear the CUET PG cut-off score, followed by a counseling session.
  • CU Gujarat PhD admission is done through the Research Aptitude Test or RAT entrance exam, followed by an interview/viva.

Central University of Gujarat Admission 2024: FAQs

Ques: Can you tell me the documents required for Central University of Gujarat admissions?

Ans: You will need the 10th and 12th mark sheet, their graduation mark sheet, their CUCET admit card, CUCET result, degree certificate and mark sheet for all semesters and qualifying examinations. You will have to carry with you your category certificate (if applicable), Medical certificate (for PwD candidates) and photocopies of all the original documents. 

Ques: Which exam is conducted for PhD admissions at the Central University of Gujarat?

Ans: The university administers a Research Aptitude Test (RAT) for admission to Ph.D. programs. But if you have taken and passed either of UGC/CSIR/JRF, then you can directly give the interview/viva.
