B.Tech and B.Arch seats are allotted through HSTES counselling, while courses such as MBA, M.Tech, BCA, M.Sc and other PG, Integrated and Certificate programmes are handled by the university through the Samarth portal. The registration fee for PG, BCA, M.Sc and Integrated programmes is INR 1,000 for General and other-state applicants and INR 250 for OSC, DSC, BC-A and BC-B candidates with Haryana domicile.

DCRUST B.Tech & B.Arch Admission 2026

For B.Tech and B.Arch, DCRUST does not run its own counselling. Students have to register with HSTES and enter their branch choices there. Allotment depends on JEE Main rank, category and the number of seats available in each branch.

DCRUST currently has 60 seats in each of the 7 B.Tech specialisations. The university has proposed to raise the intake to 90 seats in each specialisation, but this needs approval from the competent authority.

DCRUST B.Tech Selection Criteria 2026

JEE Main 2026 rank is the only basis for DCRUST B.Tech seat allotment. The process is completed online by HSTES. There is no GD, PI or separate test.

  • HSTES allots seats using JEE Main rank, category and branch-wise seat availability.
  • Haryana domicile students are considered under the HS (Home State) quota for state-reserved seats.

DCRUST MBA & Other Courses Admission 2026

DCRUST admits students to MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc, BCA and Integrated programmes through the university entrance test and counselling. Students in the final year of their qualifying degree in the 2025, 26 academic session can also apply provisionally if they meet the rules later. For M.Tech, candidates with a valid GATE score do not have to take the university entrance test.

DCRUST MBA & Other Courses Selection Criteria 2026

For MBA, M.Tech, BCA, M.Sc and other PG courses, DCRUST follows its own admission process.

  • MBA admission uses the DCRUST Entrance Test or CAT/ CMAT score, followed by counselling.
  • For M.Tech, GATE-qualified students are excused from the entrance test. Other eligible students have to take the university entrance test based on the GATE 2026 syllabus of the related discipline.
  • BCA and M.Sc admission is through the University Entrance Test.
  • Final admission is given only after document verification and after the student meets the required eligibility conditions.

DCRUST Scholarships

Students at DCRUST can use Haryana government scholarships and central academic support schemes if they meet the rules. GATE-qualified M.Tech students get a monthly fellowship from the date they join.

  • GATE Fellowship (M.Tech): Students receive INR 5,000 per month as stipend, along with INR 5,000 per year as contingency grant and INR 10,000 per year as library grant. This is for all GATE-qualified M.Tech students enrolled at DCRUST.
  • Haryana Post-Matric Scholarship: SC, ST, OBC and EWS students studying in Haryana government institutions can claim full or partial fee waiver under this state scheme. Applications are made through the Haryana Scholarship Portal.

Ques. Do students need JEE Main for DCRUST B.Tech admission in 2026?

Ans. Yes. Students applying for B.Tech through HSTES must have a valid JEE Main 2026 scorecard. DCRUST does not hold a separate B.Tech entrance test. After appearing for JEE Main in any session, candidates have to register at techadmissionshry.gov.in for counselling and seat allotment.
