IIM Rohtak Admission Dates 2027

PGP admission at IIM Rohtak for the 2027-29 batch is linked to CAT 2026. The institute conducts its own shortlisting and Personal Interview process after the CAT result and does not take part in the IIM Common Admission Process (CAP).

For BBA LLB (IPL), IIM Rohtak holds a separate aptitude test and Personal Interview. Dates for the 2027-32 IPL batch are announced on admission.iimrohtak.ac.in. Executive PGPM accepts CAT or GMAT scores and follows a separate intake cycle.

IIM Rohtak Courses and Fees

IIM Rohtak has seven programmes, ranging from short certificate courses to 5-year integrated degrees. For residential programmes, the stated fee includes hostel and mess charges, so students do not pay a separate hostel bill.

PGPM has the largest enrolment at IIM Rohtak and costs INR 18,96,250 per year on an annual basis. The BBA LLB programme is the costliest programme at the institute, with a 5-year total of INR 99,73,350 and an annual cost of INR 19,94,670. The IPMAT Rohtak registration fee is INR 4,937 for all categories and is non-refundable.

IIM Rohtak Admission Process

IIM Rohtak handles admissions separately for each programme. It does not join the IIM CAP process, and an offer from IIM Rohtak cannot be moved through a common waitlist. The institute has no management quota. Seats are filled through merit and government reservation rules.

PGPM (MBA) Admission

CAT is the first step for PGPM admission. After CAT screening, IIM Rohtak uses a composite score in which CAT percentile has 60% weight, Personal Interview has 20%, and Academic and Gender Diversity together have 20%. The institute conducts PI only, with no GD or WAT.

• Stage 1: Candidates are screened through CAT section-wise and overall percentile cutoffs. The General cutoff for the 2026-28 batch was 97 percentile.
• Stage 2: PI shortlisting is based on CAT score, academic record, gender diversity, and work experience.
• Stage 3: Shortlisted candidates attend Personal Interviews held across multiple cities.

For the 2026-28 batch, the minimum CAT percentile cutoffs were General 97, EWS 93, NC-OBC 83, SC 60, ST 50, and DAP-General 87. Work experience is not compulsory, but it adds value during shortlisting. Freshers with high CAT scores and strong academic records are also admitted every year.

IPM Admission

IPM is meant for students who have completed Class 12 in any stream. Admission is through IPMAT Rohtak, the institute’s own aptitude test. The test has Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and English. Each correct answer gets 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Shortlisted students then appear for PI. For the 2026-31 batch, IIM Rohtak offered 198 seats. Applicants need 10+2 with at least 60% marks, or 55% for SC/ST/DAP candidates.

BBA LLB (IPL) and Executive PGPM

BBA LLB admission is based on a separate IIM Rohtak aptitude test and PI. Its eligibility is the same as IPM: 10+2 with 60% marks for General candidates and 55% for SC/ST/DAP candidates. Executive PGPM applicants need graduation with at least 50% marks, a minimum of 5 years of work experience, and a CAT or GMAT score. This programme is for mid-career professionals and follows its own admission schedule on admission.iimrohtak.ac.in.

IIM Rohtak Placements

IIM Rohtak completed 100% placements for the 2025 batch. The average CTC was INR 18.73 LPA, and the highest package touched INR 36 LPA. The top 10% of students received an average CTC of INR 31.46 LPA, while the top 25% averaged INR 25.83 LPA.

Product Management / IT and Operations had the best average CTC at INR 19.62 LPA. Sales and Marketing recorded the highest single offer of INR 36 LPA. Finance, General Management and HR, and Consulting also stayed above INR 16 LPA in average pay during the 2025 placement season.

IIM Rohtak Rankings

IIM Rohtak is ranked in the NIRF Management category. In the 2025 list, the institute holds rank 19, which places it among the stronger newer-generation IIMs.

IIM Rohtak does not appear in international rankings such as QS, THE, or FT Global MBA, which are generally available for older IIMs with longer alumni data history. Its NIRF rank of 19 shows its position among IIMs set up after 2009.

IIM Rohtak Scholarships

IIM Rohtak supports students through institutional aid and government scholarship routes. Students who need financial help can apply to the institute’s financial aid committee for need-based support.

IIM Rohtak Campus and Infrastructure

IIM Rohtak’s permanent campus is in Rohtak, Haryana, 70 km from New Delhi on the Delhi-Hisar highway. The campus is fully residential, so PGPM, IPM, and BBA LLB students stay and study on campus. Accommodation and mess charges are included in the programme fees.

The campus has academic blocks with modern classrooms and seminar rooms, a central library, a gymnasium, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a food court, and a convenience store. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. Academic and residential areas are part of the same closed-campus learning setup, similar to the IIT residential model. Hostel cost, included in the bundled fee, is INR 83,000 per year for both boys and girls.

Being close to Delhi helps the institute in placement and internship connections. Recruiters from Delhi-NCR in finance, consulting, and technology can reach the campus easily because of the short travel distance.

IIM Rohtak vs IIM Raipur vs IIM Udaipur

Students often compare IIM Rohtak with IIM Raipur and IIM Udaipur because all three belong to the newer IIM group set up between 2009 and 2011. Each one is an Institute of National Importance under the IIM Act 2017, and they have broadly similar fees, applicant profiles, and management programme options.

IIM Rohtak has a higher NIRF rank at 19 than IIM Raipur and IIM Udaipur in the given comparison. Its Rohtak location, 70 km from Delhi, supports placement access and alumni links. IIM Udaipur is known for sustainability and strategy, while IIM Raipur has a similar programme base. None of the three institutes uses the IIM CAP route for PI.
