Campus placement cell is very active. Thus each and every candidate is equally considered for the placement. Due to corona pandemic placement for our batch was not that much good enough to the expected level.v
Due to corona pandemic we could not avail internship opportunities. But this is not the scenario now . Now the internship opportunities are made highly available for students. Also because of the workshops on different topics are availed for students, their quality in subject increased.
Read Full ReviewTheir are placement opportunities for done who scored 85% marks in the course, it is very difficult to score such marks. After study employment opportunities are wider because of wider jobs. Does the company give a package life food and accommodation with a salary of 70000?+ per month in a private company but in outside countries like Dubai Canada the salary is about 2 lakh+.
There are many private companies offer job opportunities. The internships are done overall in Kerala for experience. Students get knowledge about or get a practice for which the job is taken.

Read Full ReviewThe chemistry department in our college gives good placement if you are very good at chemistry last year a student placed with 90 LPA package abroad. Most of them where research industries and institutions, other department is not offering any placement. When it comes to internship there is a summer internship in our FYUGP curriculum for 2 months that is compulsory for everyone only very less percent of students are only getting a placement like 10%. My plan after the degree is pursuing a master degree
I'm currently looking for opportunities for my summer internship. I didn't got any accepted offers yet but I'm hoping that I will get opportunities from IITs and IISc s because our chemistry department staffs are well known for their research work and they will suggest us to the top places for internship and they will get accepted. That is a major plus point of our department

This experience was a steep but rewarding learning curve. Read Full Reviewcampus placement is rarely seen here.It wont come quite often but still you can get better package jobs in order to secure your future.After the studies from here you can approach any jobs related to the course as you study each and every but of basics here and advanced too.
I have not opted for any internship here.Currently the internship opportunities offered here are pretty average and not upto mark.I hope in future we can see major developments in the field of internship.

No,We are 1 year students we have no internships in our syllabus this year.We have it in 2 and 3 year.But the faculty provide good internships and industrial visits to study and analyse things easily

Yes got in kila but the fee structure cant affordable so we prefer to dont go and only interested 2 students went ther from our class.the two month internship for students occured in april may month for every students in our college. And numerous one day study tours went to kila from our college from various department's

According to NIRF, Feb 2024 reports, Kerala University is ranked 47th in the overall category and 24th in the university category in India. Kerala University is ranked 451-500 in Asian University Rankings and 110 in Southern Asia by the QS Ranking 2023.
The University of Kerala provides hostel accommodations for residential students, male and female for all its campuses. There are six hostels that are available at the Kariavattom campus and Thycaud in Thiruvananthapuram: two are for men (postgraduate and research students) and three are for women (two for postgraduate students and one for research students). Research, M.Phil., postgraduate, and undergraduate students are all eligible to be admitted to these hostels.
While Thycaud Women's Hostel admits students from government colleges at all levels, including research and degree programmes, Kariavattom only allows admission to university departments.
Furthermore, the International Youth Hostel, which is situated in the heart of Trivandrum, provides faculty and students with short-term housing. Every year, routine maintenance is done of all the hostels.
For MBA admission, Kerala University accepts scores from national or state entrance exams, including CAT, CMAT, and KMAT. Applicants to law programs at Kerala University must pass the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE) A valid GATE score or a legitimate university test score are additional requirements for admission to Kerala University's M.Tech programme.
The fee structure for Kerala University for their various courses are as follows:
- B.E. / B.Tech: INR 45.65 K - 2.6 L (for 3-4 years)
- B.Sc.: INR 1.98 K - 1.38 L (for 3-4 years)
- MBA/PGDM: INR 36 K - 7.96 L (for 2 years)
- M.Sc.: INR 2.2 K - 2.28 L (for 2 years)
The grades at Kerala University are calculated by the following method:
GPA = ∑ Credit x GP obtained for the subject or g1c1+g2c2+g3c3+… ∑ credit for subject c1+c2+c3… Cumulative Grade point Average (CGPA) is the average grade points obtained by the students till the end of any particular semester.
