Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University offers multiple courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels under three disciplines Veterinary and Animal Science, Dairy Science and Poultry Science. KVASU admission process takes place online. Admission to KVASU is based on the entrance exam as well as merit. It offers a cluster of Undergraduate (UG) programmes like B.Sc, B.V.Sc and B.Tech and Postgraduate (PG) programmes such as M.Tech, MS, M.Sc and M.V.Sc along with Ph. D programmes in different disciplines

  • For admission to B.Tech. in Dairy Technology and food technology, candidates must qualify KEAM i.e. Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical, which is conducted by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams run by the Government of Kerala or should have qualified AIEEA-UG.
  • For admission to B.Sc courses at KVASU, candidates should appear in an entrance test conducted by the university.
  • Admission to BVSc.& AH will be done on the basis of NEET UG.
  • For admission to M.V.Sc., M.Sc., and Diploma courses, candidates should appear for the entrance test conducted by KVASU University. To be eligible for admission, candidates must possess a graduation degree in the relevant field with minimum required marks.
  • PhD admission is granted to candidates who secure a minimum percentage of marks or the minimum OGPA in the Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. The final selection is done on the basis of qualifying degree marks, scores on written entrance test and an interview followed by counselling conducted by KVASU University.
