ICT Mumbai UG Admission 2026

ICT Mumbai admits students to B.Tech through DTE Maharashtra CAP. Maharashtra-domicile students compete for 70% of seats with MHT-CET PCM scores, and all-India students compete for 30% of seats with JEE Main scores. The institute does not offer management quota admission.

The UG admission process also covers B.Pharm through MHT-CET PCB and CAP counselling. ICT Mumbai offers B.Tech branches in areas such as Chemical Engineering, Surface Coating Technology, Dyestuff and Intermediates Technology, Food Engineering, Oleochemicals, Pharmaceutical technology and Polymer-related technologies.

The total fee for all 9 B.Tech specialisations is INR 4,89,750. ICT Mumbai also runs a 5-year integrated B.Tech plus M.Tech in Chemical Engineering with a total fee of INR 5,28,165. B.Pharm is offered through MHT-CET PCB and DTE Maharashtra CAP, and its total 4-year programme fee is INR 3,79,904.

For B.Tech, candidates first appear for MHT-CET or JEE Main. After results, they register at cetcell.mahacet.org, enter ICT Mumbai and preferred branches in the CAP choice form, take part in allotment rounds, complete document verification, and pay the seat acceptance fee within the given deadline.

• Maharashtra State Quota (70%): Admission uses the MHT-CET PCM percentile, and only Maharashtra-domicile candidates can use this route.
• All-India Quota (30%): Admission uses JEE Main scores and is open to students from all states.
• Branch allotment depends on rank, category, and the order of choices submitted during CAP.
• Required documents include Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, MHT-CET or JEE Main scorecard, domicile certificate for state quota, and category certificate if applicable.

Key Insight: ICT Mumbai fills B.Tech and B.Pharm seats only through DTE Maharashtra CAP. All-India quota applicants using JEE Main do not need Maharashtra domicile. Candidates should check the DTE seat matrix at cetcell.mahacet.org before filling choices.

ICT Mumbai PG Admission 2026

ICT Mumbai offers PG admission through different routes. M.Tech needs a valid GATE score, M.Pharm needs GPAT, and M.Sc and MBA admission follow the institute-level process. The institute manages PG admissions directly on a merit basis.

GATE 2026 was conducted in February 2026, and GPAT 2026 results were declared in April 2026. Students with valid GATE or GPAT scores should apply directly to ICT Mumbai and check ictmumbai.edu.in for application deadlines and interview schedules. For M.Tech, shortlisted students are called for an interview, and final selection is based on GATE score and interview performance.

ICT Mumbai Scholarships

ICT Mumbai students may apply for state government, central government, and institute-level scholarships. Since the institute is government-aided, eligible students can also claim Maharashtra government fee concessions.

• Government of Maharashtra Post-Matric Scholarship: SC, ST, OBC, SBC, and VJNT category students can apply through the MahaDBT portal. The scheme covers tuition and examination fees.
• Central Government Scholarship: The National Scholarship Portal, scholarships.gov.in, lists merit-cum-means scholarships for students from economically weaker sections.
• EBC Freeship: Non-creamy layer students with family income below INR 8,00,000 per year can get fee freeship under Maharashtra state rules.
