SSPU, Pune: UG Admissions 2024

SSPU offers various undergraduate programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Education, Administration, and many more. The selection of these courses is either merit-based or based on the scores the candidate gets on the entrance test conducted by the university. The UG courses offered by the university are as follows:

SPPU UG Eligibility

• For admission into the B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BFA, BA.LLB and BSL courses at SSPU, the candidates must have a high school diploma or any such equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Candidates applying for BCS must have a high school diploma or any such equivalent from a recognized institution with the PCM subjects.
• Admission to B.Sc (Applied) courses requires the candidate to have a BSc/B.E degree in the relevant subject from a recognized institution. 
• The candidates applying for B.Pharm must have completed a diploma in Pharmacology in the first degree, or passed class 10 or any equivalent from a recognized institution. 
• Students applying to BHMCT must have a diploma in HMCT.
• Students applying to B.Ed must have a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in any faculty with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
• Admission to the B.P.Ed and LLB courses require the candidate to have graduated in any discipline.

SSPU UG Selection Criteria 

• Admission to UG courses at Pune University is done on the basis of merit secured in the last qualifying examination
• Admission to BA and B.Sc (Biotechnology) at Pune University is done on the basis of merit in an entrance test conducted by the university
• Admission to B.Pharm at Pune University is done on the basis of merit secured in the MHT CET.

SSPU, Pune: MBA Admission 2024

SSPU offers a 2-year MBA course at the postgraduate level. The eligibility for admission into this course is a Graduate degree along with the candidate’s scores on the entrance test conducted by the University. 

SSPU MBA Eligibility 

In order to get selected for the MBA course, candidates must have a graduate degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks, and 45% for reserved groups, in any field. 

SSPU MBA Selection Criteria 

The selection is then done on the basis of the CAT/CMAT/MHT CET scores that the candidate has received, followed by counseling.

SSPU, Pune: M.Tech Admission 2024

SPPU M.Tech Eligibility 

M.Tech candidates must have a B.E. or B. Tech. or M.Sc in a relevant subject and will be selected based on the scores secured in the GATE/MHT CET exams, followed by counseling. 

SPPU M.Tech Selection Criteria 

Admission to M.tech courses is done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university.

SSPU, Pune: PG Admission 2024

SSPU offers various postgraduate courses in a number of fields and disciplines. Selection to these courses is either entrance-based or merit-based. The courses offered by the university are as follows:

SPPU PG Eligibility 

• Candidates applying to M.Com must have a degree in B.Com.
• Candidates must have a degree in B.Sc/B.A in the relevant subject to get selected for the M.Sc/M.A course at SSPU.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a compulsory requirement in high school in order to get admitted into the MCS/MCA courses at Pune University.
• Candidates Applying to MFA must have a BFA degree.
• Candidates must have a degree in BOL / BA with additional learning to get selected for MOL.
• LLM candidates must possess a degree in LLB. 
• Candidates must have a degree in B.Ed to get admitted into M.Ed at Pune University
• Candidates must have a degree in B.Li.Sc or any other equivalent degree for getting admission into M.Li.Sc.
• Candidates who possess a Graduation in any stream are eligible for admission into MPM/ MCM/ MMM/ MMS/ Master of Labour Laws & Labour Welfare.

SPPU PG Selection Criteria 

Admission to all courses is done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university.

SSPU, Pune: M.Phil Admission 2023 

SSPU offers a 12-month M.Phil course of intensive research in various disciplines. The candidate must have a Master's degree in the relevant field and the selection is done on the basis of an entrance test. 

SSPU M.Phil Eligibility

In order to get selected for the M.Phil course, the candidate must have a master’s degree in the relevant field. 

SSPU M.Phil Selection Criteria 

They will be given admission based on the scores secured in the entrance test and interview conducted by the University. 

SSPU, Pune: PhD Admission 2024 

SSPU offers a PhD course for intensive research in various fields and interdisciplinary subjects. The candidate must pass a written test and possess a Master’s degree to get into this course.

SSPU PhD Eligibility 

In order to get selected for the PhD course, the candidate must possess a Master's degree in the relevant field and they must pass a written test conducted by the University. 

SSPU PhD Selection Criteria

Exemption from the written test is provided for students who have qualified in the UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET exams or have a valid GATE score or even an M.Phil in the relevant subject.

Students can apply to SSPU through the official website using the following steps:

1. Visit the official website of the University
2. Click on the Admission Tab
3. Select the course i.e., UG, PG, or PhD Admissions
4. Click on the desired department course and specialization
5. You will be redirected to the login page
6. New users Signup, others can log in by entering Username and Password
7. Click on ‘New Application’
8. Fill the applications with legit information
9. Upload your recent photograph
10. Click on ‘Save and Proceed’
11. Pay the application fee via Challan
12. Get the Application and a copy of the university challan copy printed

Documents Required:

• All the Marks Cards 
• Caste Certificate
• Provisional Degree Certificate/Degree Certificate
• National level/State level Sports Certificate (If applying through sports quota)
