Courses offered by Colleges/Institutions of U.P. affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

About This Course: The duration of the course spans four years, divided into two semesters per year, resulting in a total of 8 semesters. For distance programs, the duration remains at 4 years. Production engineering is an amalgamation of manufacturing technology and management science. A production engineer addresses both engineering practices and managerial complexities linked to production processes. Production engineering finds extensive application in areas such as casting, joining methods, metal cutting, tool design, metrology, machine tools, machining systems, operational research, quality control, and mechatronics. In essence, production engineering focuses on the integrated design and efficient planning of complete manufacturing systems.
