Total 8 semesters in Btech and differs according to the type of degree you all chose.. Faculties who teach are mostly PhD level and much more.. A well educated systematic of Mid sems and End sems goes on every year smoothly and fairly

The course curriculum is such that in a year there are two semesters which have 5 or 6 subjects per semester. In first year the subjects are same for all the branches. Then after first year the courses are according to your branch. As a government institution the faculty are well qualified also most of them have done their M.tech or Ph.d from IITs. Now the each semester has Two mid semesters exams that is of 15 marks each and one end semesters exam that is of 50 marks. The midsems are considered to be easy as compared to the endsemester exam due the less syllabus in midsems.

90 % teachers have excellent knowledge in their subjects , some of them are permanent professorsof the University, and some are Guest Professors. Out of these 90 % , 40 % teachers Teacher very well , like you would not have to go to any coaching or other course , they teach very well and professionally, and could clear each and every doubt. And rest 50 % have very good knowledge, but lack teaching skills , like everyone felw sleepy in their class , and can't sync with their teaching style. The 10% faculty i would say , they themselves have to learn a lot , they also lack knowledge???? Most of the professors are very chill , and easily give marks , if you timely do and submit their assignments, and giving proper attendance. But some 5-6 professors are very moody and aggressive, they could do anything based on their mood. Mid semester exams are held once every 2 months, and are but difficult and descriptive, then final semester exam.

In my college, Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur, the course curriculum is mostly the same as that of other colleges and IITs but the thing that makes our college different from IITs, NITs and other government colleges is its culture and availability of some oldest branches like Leather, Paint, Food and Oil Technology.

Reason to choose chemical engineering in HBTU is that it is known for its Chemical Engineering and most of the successful alumnus of this college are from chemical engineering department . Faculties are experienced as well as great as well as some faculties are graduates from IIT kanpur and their qualification are post graduate or phd scholar but not all faculties are good many faculties have attitude problem , teaching methods are theoretical not too much advance During first year you will have exams after every month, difficulty level is mostly medium not too hard not too easy

I am choose this course because of alumini network and popularity of this college. Qualification of faculties is very good and teaching method of the faculties is very good. Exam are scheduled time by time and difficulty level is moderate .

Placement of this course is very good. Almost every student gets placed in a good company. After cse this the best branch. Course is according with industry standard. And faculty is much experienced here.

I chose electronics engineering because of it's wide scope in future. Since the future is of semiconductor industry. Review of teaching is average some teachers are strict some are good also. 2 midsem and 1 endsem occur in 1 semester. Frequency of exam is 2 months.

WHY I CHOSE THIS COURSE I chose Btech in Mechanical engineering due to my interest. The growing demand for skilled professionals in software and development and AI also influenced my decision. FACULTY QUALIFICATIONS AND TEACHING METHODS The faculty comprise experienced professors with Phds from reputed institutions like IITs . While some professors are highly approachable , some rely heavily on lecture with limited practical knowledge. Faculty is not the very best. TERM EXAMS AND DIFFICULTY LEVEL Exam are conducted mostly on time. Each semester consists of two mid-semester exams and one main even or odd end semester exam at the end f the semester . Mid-semester exams are of 15 marks each while end-semester exam is of 50 marks , and the remaining 20 marks are internal which are given by faculty on the bases of attendance , assignments, practical files etc. The difficulty level is moderate to high .

The curriculum focuses on the both aspects that is theory and practical . The facilities are too good , every faculty give their best for the students and any student can ask any question to faculties related to subject.
