The admission in HBTU Kanpur is possible if any individual is appearing for JEE mains. Candidates do not need to clear JEE advanced but one must have secured a rank in JEE mains. To get into this college candidate must go through the Registration in the counseling process of HBTU Kanpur. The date of counseling is similar to the date of counseling of JOSAA but this college is not aloted via JOSAA as it has its own website to go through the counseling process. The cut off of JEE mains depends upon the number of candidates appearing for exam. If candidate have cleared the cut off of their respective category the they can apply for this college. Then further according to the rank of the candidate they have been alloted a branch.

I got admission in HBTU Kanpur , with my JEE mains Score. HBTU conducts its own counselling every year , after JEE mains and JEE advanced exams , around same time as JOSAA , CSAB , AKTU counselling. I scored approx. 95 percentile in JEE mains by God's sake , and I was getting admissions in some Tier 2 NITs , but with recommendations from my family, relatives, I took HBTU Kanpur , as I belong to UP , so HBTU being in Kanpur is a very good choice , also as Kanpur is an old Industrial region , also Kanpur has IIT kanpur , so that also adds up to the location advantage of my HBTU. Also , HBTU is a Tier - 2 state university, with a huge Alumni network , Also HBTU has a very huge collection of books in its central Library, thode books are from the time of British itself.Also People here are very chill , and campus is very peaceful. Also , HBTU Kanpur is considered to be one of the best college for chemical engineering and Chemical technology

I have completed my intermediate from Central Board of Secondary Education and gave JEE 2024 and secured a good rank and took admission in Electronics Engineering in Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur. The popularity and Reputation of this college is very high especially in Uttar Pradesh and it is one of the oldest reputed college of Uttar Pradesh and that's why I took admission in this college.

HBTU Kanpur is spread across two campuses East campus in 77 acres and West campus in 252 acres they both are situated 3 kms apart in main kanpur , lush green campus,strong alumni network worldwide, it's 100 years of legacy proves it's worth in India, peaceful surroundings Being a widely recognised college it doesn't have much support from the government,it's infrastructure is not too attractive . To apply for admission students need to clear jee mains and must have 75 percent in 12th class

The factors that made me choose this college,one of the factor is popularity of hbtu kanpur and this college is the best college of up and good college in placement. we didn't face any group discussion.we did face written examination test which is jee mains examination for admission.

Jee main entrance was only criteria for this course. You just have to crack jee main with decent rank to get into this college. Just study your 12th pcm and you will get this college after jee mains

I chose this college because at my rank the best possible college which I was getting is this only. The eligibility to enter into this college is minimum 60? in class 12th and jee mains qualified. Cutoff of general in electronics was approx 65000.

Admission id based on JEE Mains scores for Btech course . Students who have passed 12th class with an atleast 55% aggregate in PCM are eligible to apply. I appeared for JEE Mains exam .the cutoff for my program was 90 percentile. After the , hbtu has its own counselling and the last step involves document verification. PREPARATION FOR ADMISSION ROUNDS I studied constantly using an online course that i bought (Physics Wallah) , NCERT books and mock tests. GOOD ASPECTS OF HBTU 1. Placements : Over 95 % placement rates with top recruiters like Bajaj , Honda etc. 2. Facilities : its includes labs , Wi-Fi -enabled Campus , sports facilities , Fests . BAD ASPECTS OF HBTU 1. High fees 2. Infrastructure is average but not the best

There are total 4 types of exams taken in the college and theses are - 1) Mid-Semester-1 Exam , 2) Mid-Semester-2 Exams , 3) Practicals and 4)End-Semester Exams. The college give plenty of time to prepare for the exams but the gaps between the subjects is not enough to study .
