Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu Arabi-Farsi University or Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University is a non-profit public University located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Recognized by UGC and AICTE, this state university is ranked #78 in Uttar Pradesh by EduRank 2022. Currently, more than 3000 students are studying in the UG, PG, PhD, and diploma programs of the university. Other than their regular courses like B.A., B.Ed, M.A., MBA, MCA, the university also offers self finance courses such as B.Tech., B.Sc, MBA, LLM, etc.

KMCLU admissions are done on the basis of merit list and entrance exam. For MBA, admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in UPSEE, and admission for B.Ed. programs students have to take U.P.B.Ed. All of the courses in KMCLU have an admission capacity of 60 seats for every academic session. However, for B.Ed. program, the university gives admission for 100 seats.

The eligibility criteria can vary for some courses. An intermediate certificate is mandatory for all UG programs, and a bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required to become eligible for PG programs. Some of the UG programs also take students who have completed their studies from Madarsa board.

KMCLU Admission 2022

KMCLU has opened it admission portal for the session 2022-23. The admission process started on May 06, 2022. The last date to submit the application form for admissions was June 20, 2022. The admission session is started on July 15, 2022.

  • KMCLU offers various courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • University offers admission in online and offline mode with only offline fees payment option.
  • The university will release the merit list for admission to PG and UG programs based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
  • For admissions in diploma courses, candidates are mandated to provide a No Objection Certificate from their current employer, or in the case of self-employment, they have to provide authentic evidence to validate their statement.

  • Step 1. Visit the official website of the University, for a soft copy and online submission of the admission form.
  • Step 2. Click on the admission form 2022-23 under the Admission tab.
  • Step 3. Download the form or click apply for admission tab.

KMCLU Placements

The KMCLU’s placement for the session 2020-21 has increased significantly as compared to previous years. Read more to know the key highlights of the placements held at the university:

  • The average salary offered to the UG students placed in 2020-21 is INR 3 lakhs annually, which is comparatively higher than in 2019-20, where the average salary offer was INR 2.65 lakhs annually.
  • Out of total of 430 UG graduates in 2020-21, about 50% of students were placed and 201 students opted for higher education.
  • In the session 2019-20, the placement rate was very low and out of 249 UG graduates, 162 students went for higher studies.
