Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have completed their post-graduation in Biology or Biotechnology from a recognized institute are eligible to apply. Alternatively, individuals with an M.Sc. degree in fields aligned with the research domains of the department can also apply. Furthermore, those with an M.Tech. degree or its equivalent in Biotechnology or related interdisciplinary fields are eligible. A minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in their post-graduation is required.

Selection Criteria: Candidates are generally evaluated based on their scores in examinations such as CSIR-UGC/ CSIR (JRF)/ NET/ GATE, etc., along with subsequent rounds of Personal Interview.
