TBH this college is atleast one of the good options in kolkata , mind it , I'm not telling the best. your 1st year faculties are all nice, generous and helpful . Most of the teachers here hold a masters degree from Calcutta or Jadavpur University . Some of them are doing phd. and have and experience of above 15+ years. You can always reach out to them if you have any doubt .

Academic and teachers are average, faculty is kinda bad. Talking about entertainment like fest and all, it's non existing, like even our first year fest has not been conducted yet. It does follow the makaut syllabus, but for being autonomous, the teachers modify the syllabus as the wish, the class notes are the only syllabus.

The courses are also good in this college and some of the teachers are passionate about their students. Teachers in the academics specially in the music and dance department are good. They teach students how to dance forget about music. In the performance sessions somehow many one got amazing singing skills . In this dancing session recently students from other colleges have came in my college and they perform exceptionally well.

Courses curriculum and the syllabus and the structure of stude is all are with the approved aicte aproved rules .All facalties are good and very helpful.The are very friendly with the students and all others.

Course curriculum is is bit old but u can co-operate and learn many more things . There are many faculties which are good enough and helpful. There are two main end sem exams in a year which is of 60 marks each.

I always wished to do engineering in core branches, so after some reasearch I have chosen Chemical Engineering. Qualification of the faculties in our department is very promising. In other departments also faculties are well qualified. Apart from semester exam we regularly had our class tests upon finishing a chapter which will be added as internal marks in average. Difficulty level is normal and depends on professors.

My course is COMPUTER SCIENCE AND BUSINESS SYSTEM, which specialises with some management course subjects along with core computer science course. Faculties are well qualified and some faculties also teach in very nice way so that students understand easily. In first semester there are 4 surprise tests in each subject and no mid term, only end semester exam. From second year there are mid term exams and end semester exams.

I chose this course because of my WBJEE Rank(8775) but in CSBS branch Computer Science is also mixed with some management skills . Every Semester includes a Management subject and a subject related to Technology and Values like how to behave to your seniors, how to make technology in ways they do not harm nature. The Faculty here is highly educated as most of them are PHDs and others are pursuing PHDs but speaking frankly they are not good in teaching except a very few . Only they care about the Assignment deadlines and a 75% attendance. In a semester you will be having a minimum of 6 subjects. Each subject will be having minimum: Class tests - 4 Mid Sem - 1 End Sem - 1 total exams per subject in a semester = 6 no. of subjects = 6 therefore total no. of exams in a semester = 36 Talking about the difficulty level of exams , class tests are pretty easy but the mid and end sem exams are moderately difficult so you will have to start studying for exams a month ago and solve prev. papers
