Likes
- The campus is good it is large enough for students to go to anywhere . So many students involved in the sports opportunity and get well.
- The faculty is good some of the faculty are good regarding their passion.
Dislikes
- The food is not so good in the canteen and fee high is suddenly increased by the 50% .
- Only some of the faculty are good and they doing well.The fest is here only for 8-10 days in a year.
Remarks :
Firstly my friends have suggested that it's a good college about their placement and fees. The fees of this particular college was not so high it was affordable but in recent times it has increased its fees more than 50% . Some of the teachers are also good they are sincere about their passion . We have to give the WBJEE for this college . I got rank of 3209 and got selected in this college . Several students have branch like CS,IT and many more branches are available in this college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The courses are also good in this college and some of the teachers are passionate about their students. Teachers in the academics specially in the music and dance department are good. They teach students how to dance forget about music. In the performance sessions somehow many one got amazing singing skills . In this dancing session recently students from other colleges have came in my college and they perform exceptionally well.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not done any internship opportunity in this year . I have decided to take intern after completing my courses and by the end of the 2nd year I get intern. Many of the internships are available in the intershala group, or indeed website they are extremely good for internships.
Placement Experience :
This year placement is just increased in the case of IT and CSE students. The placement for this students are almost same most of the students got placed under 6 LPA , and some of them are placed under 5 LPA . Students can apply in ofline campus placements also and get high opportunity in placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The scholarship is not provided to the students who are outsiders . There is TFW category which is also limited for some regional students which is lack of disadvantage. As everyone should get equal opportunity to grab this scholarship. In recent times this college has suddenly increased their fees by the margin of more than 50 % which is very disrespectful according to me. Many of the students were gone to strike after this we did it continuously for about three days , and their was no effect of it.
Campus Life :
The annual fest is good every departmental students gets opportunity for dancing, singing and perform some acting. The library is quite large and it has lot of books where anyone can read it whenever he wants. Every departmental students can issue books anytime and by the late of 21 days they will get penalty of 2 rs per day . Their is the inter departmental competition between the students regarding volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, and many more sports.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for modern boys hostel it is better than other hostel and their foods . As the foods of hostel mess are not so good they are hardly to eat. In our hostel their is the competition between the students regarding the tournament of sports like cricket , volleyball , badminton and many sports. We give students opportunity to create their best in the games .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
