Eligibility Criteria

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: B. Tech (Direct Entry): Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship (Any of the three). Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech through Direct Entry Scheme must qualify either Central Institute of Technology Bachelor of Technology Entrance Examination (CITBTEE)-2023 conducted by CIT Kokrajhar or JEE (Mains) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). 60% of intake is allotted for CITBTEE-2023 and rest of the seats are allotted for JEE (Mains) qualified candidates.
