The faculties are highly qualified and some of them are from IITs and have done their Phd from forei

What I Liked

Everyone is friendly and they are willing to help in every aspect they will teach you how this will help in your life.
College campus is huge you get a good environment as this place is far from town area.

What I didn’t like

Only placements are less so as compared to IITs this college is getting less package.
Some are less experience in teaching but they show as if they know everything.

Placement Experience:

You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.

Internships Opportunities:

I did one year internship on Building and bridges design and I tool the role of junior trainee and I learn many things how a foundation is done and I did another one year internship on River banks protection in Gaurang River.

Excellent teaching facilities

What I Liked

Everyone is friendly and they are willing to help in every aspect they will teach you how this will help in your life.

My honest reaction

What I Liked

It is situated in village area which makes us feel so good in the morning
Faculties are good ... They used to look each student

What I didn’t like

Fest are going hell day by day ... Fest are becoming like school functions
Mess food is so bad ... One vegetable is given everyday with a very bad taste

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good here as not much companies used to visit here but if we will develop a skill then we would be placed ... Internship is not offered by college but some clubs provide us it externally

Internships Opportunities:

Actually I haven't done any internship yet as I got opportunity externally but not by college ... So I haven't trusted it and haven't done any internship yet .... They used to provide us Intership in collaboration with IIT's

The best headlines

What I Liked

In the evening and sit the clg round table with friends and talk him is the best.

What I didn’t like

The campus us not good aur not bad and also faculty is not good.
The college is not good or not bad but okey.

Placement Experience:

The placement is average in the college. Some students are sit in placement and then 40 students got a job out of 100. And the maximum students go for the new course M tech etc. the highest package is 6 lacks average is 4. The offer is coming from Amul etc.

The college life

What I Liked

The college is good but if you are single then you are getting jealous from seeing other couplea
Infra is good and the faculty they are also good.

What I didn’t like

The mess food . And the fest dates which are conducted on Saturday and sundays
There are so many couple in our college and I'm single till now

Placement Experience:

If you want to sit for the placement you have to clear all your back papers. The companies which is visited to our college is Amazon, amul, infosis, flipkart, delloite n many more The percentage is kinda low

Internships Opportunities:

I have not done any internship till now as I was new at the college . But as I know you can do any internship from this college. But you have to find it by own the college is not going to help you properly.

Placement Experience:

The placement level is very low in the college some companies entered with low lpa like 6lpa or less when students have skills then it's opportunity to crack the lpa packages in the company all the placement

Some interships are present in the college Like TPO etc some companies entered in the college for intership I hope in future lot's of company come in the college for placement or interships inthe college

College review for CITK

What I Liked

I do like the infrastructure of the college. The campus is very large and beautiful as well (better then most of the state colleges).
I like the faculty members a lot. They are of high work ethic and they always teach quality stuffs.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the mess of the hostel, the mess food is very bad . Also there are frequent load shedding in the campus.
I don't like the reservation criteria of the college like most of the seats are reserved for the Bodo people.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is not very good. There are very less amount of placement opportunities in the college. From 7th semester onwards, students can apply for placements and its related exams. There are various number of companies that visit every year such as Siemens Energy, Amazon , Wipro, TCS and many other companies. About 50 % of students are placed every year. The highest package was of 12 LPA in the year 2021 and the average package is around 5 LPA. I planned of doing masters from some IIT's or NIT's.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships can be applied after the end of 6th semester. The students during their internship program are sent to various PSUs like IOCL, NTPC, ONGC etc. Students can also opt for private internships which can pay them as well. I have not opted for internships yet since it is my 5th semester right now, however I am planning to do internship in my 6th semester.

What I Liked

THE INFRACTRUCTURE OF COLLEGE IS WELLL MAINTAINED, CAMPUS LIFE IS GOOD, ALL NECESSITY SHOPS ARE CLOSE BY, FAR FROM THE HUSTLE .
THE FACULTY ARE HIGHLY QUALIFIED WHICH MAKES THIS INSTITUTE REALLY GOOD .

What I didn’t like

THE FACT THAT IT IS VERY FAR FROM THE MAIN TOWN SOMETIMES CAUSES DISRUPTION TO ONE.
THE WEATHER IS VERY HOT SOMETIMES MAKING IT HARD TO WALK AROUND IN THE CAMPUS.

ELIGIBILITY: 7 OR MORE CGPA A NUMBER OF COMPANIES INCLUDING AMAZON. SRD FOOD PRODUCTS PVT. LTD., WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES, HEWLETT PACKARD (HP) AND SIMPLEX SOLUTIONS MADE OFFERS. THERES NO DATA FOR THE AVERAGE AND HOGHEST PACKAGE GIVEN BY THE RECRUITERS.

Internships Opportunities:

STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO UNDERTAKE SUMMER TRAINING AND INTERNSHIPS IN RTEPUTED FIRMS LIKE JIO, AIRTEL AND IN OTHER INSTITUTES LIKE NIT, IIT AND SO ON.A NUMBER OF COMPANIES INCLUDING AMAZON, SRD FOOD PRODUCTS, WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES, HP ARE KNOWN TO HAVE VISITED THE INSTITUITION.

REVIEW FOR CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KOKRAJHAR (ASSAM)

What I Liked

Faculty. All have very excellent research profiles. You would love to learn from them. They are people with great acumen with a passion for their work. Keep good relations with them as you may need Letters of recommendation after you graduate.
The infrastructure is quite good. The campus is huge and surrounded with greenery. You have lots of activities by your side after classes in the evening. You will feel really good about the college with the right people by your side.

What I didn’t like

Location is a very bad aspect of this college. Outside the campus is a village with limited transport facilities. Theres bus services from the college during class hours. People without personal vehicles might feel alienated.
Placements are awful. They don't do justice to it's tag since its a central institute. Although there's tremendous room for improvements, I feel things are improving with time since many initiatives are being taken by faculty and placement cell.

Placement Experience:

Placements start at the beginning of the 7th semester. Since on-campus placements are limited, many people opt for off-campus placements, prepare for entrance exams, or go abroad. Siemens Energy, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, HCL and Flipkart are some of the employers that have recruited students in the past.

Internships Opportunities:

After you finish your 6th semester, you are eligible for internships at various companies. Some people opt for private firms as they provide you with a stipend but the vast majority will go for PSUs like IOCL, ONGC and NTPC. You can also opt for internships before your 6th semester.

The college we desire

Placement Experience:

Placements come in here very few but the students in here are very brights they crack GATE examinations every year. Placements come once in 2 years or sometimes don't. I think placements should come in our college cuz there are many bright students in here

Internships Opportunities:

I have applied for internship in IOCL where our teachers recomended us because there they give us the best knowledge about how the industrial things work .The faculties are in close contact with them.
