IIIT Manipur Imphal was founded in 2015 by an act of parliament under the Ministry of Education, Government of Indians. and is located in Imphal, Manipur. The institute offers undergraduate BE/B.Tech courses and two Ph.D. courses. IIIT Manipur Admission is solely based on merit through the National Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and GATE. IIIT Manipur offers the following scholarships:
- The college offers scholarships to the OBC, EBC, DNT students through the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI. A scholarship of up to INR 2 Lakhs will be offered to deserving candidates under this scheme.
- A collaboration with Canara bank allows IIIT Manipur to meritorious students in need of financial help can access education loans of up to 30 Lakhs.
- IIIT Manipur also offers the SBI Scholar Loan wherein an education loan of up to INR 7.5 Lakhs with no collateral security can be availed.
- Besides these, students can also avail of scholarships offered by the state and central government.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is well organised and is according to other colleges but the faculties are as usuall I.e you mainly have to study by your own , yes their are some teachers who will give you some good knowledge but mainly you have to do by your own and in this part you will learn to manage a lot of things that is very important

Course Curriculum Overview:
Courses offered in my institute is parallel to as offered in other IIITs i.e. CSE, CSE(Specialization in AI), ECE, ECE(Specialization in VLSI). The faculty here is decent with PHD in their respective domains from colleges like IITs and well known foreign institutes. They are well learned in their fields as expected from a faculty of national importance institute. The main problem is strict rule of attendance, strict marking in assessments. Overall the learning experience is great here.
Placement Experience:
Talking about internships this year students has gone to IIT Madras, ISRO for internships and transfer or course exchange. Placement is fine for a establishing IIIT and considering the location, still Delloitte, Nvidia, etc companies come for interviews and median package is in between 15 to 20 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Here the curriculum is pretty much up to date i.e. changed yearly that meets the industry requirements. Here the teachers teaching styles are different and unique and are very in understanding the concepts. The only disadvantage is that frequency of exams is very frequent.
Placement Experience:
I was also surprised after hearing the placements records which is 100% because of a eligibility criteria of 6.5cgpa minimum, below that students are not allowed to sit in college placements. But my plans after completing the course are to do masters.

Faculties are supportive yet there is some accent barrier..some people might have a problem hearing what the professor is saying other than that mostly all faculty are very helpful and gu your career. Course is on the difficult side but it is very subjective as to whether you find it difficult or not. Mostly all the faculty have PhD from IIT's

Placement is affected by the recession so not so much to look forward therefore the placement is on the lower side compared to any Northside colleges although the placement and job opportunities for ECE look very promising and the college is very well experienced in training for ECE

Course Curriculum Overview:
Firstly I chose this course as the semiconductor industry which is a part of the Electronic and communication background is growing massively. We have 5 to 6 real-world subjects every semester (for example Principle of Communication, Analog Design, Digital Design, etc) and their required labs too. Talking about exams we have a total of 3 assessments of 25 marks each and at last an end-term examination (50% from 3 assessments and 50% from end term is taken). The questions are based on the class teachings. The students are eligible for many scholarships, especially the reservation ones. Also, you can change your branch in 3rd semester if you are eligible.
Placement Experience:
The placement opportunities are good. As we are an IT this tag helps a lot. The average package ranges between 8-9 LPA and we have a strong alumni network too. Moreover, semester exchange programs and internship campaigns are also conducted.
