What I Liked

I like the inter iiit sports fest held every year and if you are a sporty you will like it
The natural beauty of north east is mesmerizing

What I didn’t like

The campus is very small that you can't play cricket and football at the same time because of very small ground
The mess. Food is literally very bad and some time not eatable

Remarks:

After giving jee I only want a government college also with cse so I got it , their are no such discussion, interview or written test conducted for admission and you can get it just through your jee result

First year Experience at IIIT Senapati, Manipur

What I Liked

Temporary campus infrastructure is very good as for building this government of India has given extra funds.a
New campus architecture and infrastructure is stare of art with 150acre of land.

What I didn’t like

Assessments marking system and attendance policy.
Attendance policy and assessment marking system.

Remarks:

I chose this college because of the branch I got here i.e. Electronics and communication engineering, Other factors were the brand value of the college(IIIT tag, placement records(median package around 22lacs). I gave JEE main to enter this college so JEE Main rank was also an important factor.

IIIT Manipur All You Need To know

What I Liked

Weather is good,There is no pollution here the aqi here lies between 10-30
Clubs are very good here like Google Summer Camp and Google developers club

What I didn’t like

College Area is Quite Small but adequate enough with all facilities.
It is a academic based institute so not many events happen but it changed as the institute is growing

Remarks:

Mainly due to the availability of courses like Computer Science And Engineering Also Specialisation in CS Artificial Intelligence And Data Science Several other Courses like ECE and ECE VLSI I cleared JEE MAINS ,I passed the cutoff for my category and got CSE in Final Round of JOSAA

College focuses upon the academics very much
Placements are very good with a higher package

What I didn’t like

Campus is small as it is temporary one and permanent one is under construction.
A compulsory attendance criteria of 75% is there

Remarks:

Yes I have written exams named JEE mains which is very essential or compulsory to qualify to get into this college with a seat being alloted through CSAB, i got this one based upon my rank and category in the exam

The perfect MID college

What I Liked

Location of the campus in the city which makes every major place easily accessible
Equipment for training and experiments so that a student can get all over training

What I didn’t like

Campus Life is just Dead although it's improving but on current stage it's dead
Mess food is straight up horrible again it's improving but at a slow pace

Remarks:

It fits the criteria of being a govt. College and accepts at very low percentile so it was the best option at the time. There were no i or group discussion for addmission. The cutoff was around 90 percentile in JEE mains for general. Its facilities are not so good although you can spend your 4 years there..college life is low so go there only to study no other expectations.

Detailed review of IIIT Manipur by Raj Das(2nd year Btech ECE)

What I Liked

Firstly the placement is good and the faculties are highly cooperative and trained.
Secondly, the mess food is average but proper hygiene is maintained.

What I didn’t like

The campus life feels boring after a time as there are very less amount of fests.
The academic schedule is very tight giving students very less amount of time to work on their skills.

Remarks:

Firstly I have given the JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) Mains examination and then enrolled myself for the counseling round. I got this college in my 2nd round of JOSAA counseling and selected it. After that, I had to submit my fees and it was done. There is no management quota or direct admission in this college. You have to apply by giving Jee mains paper. Moreover, there will be no interviews.
