SVKMS NMIMS SHIRPUR, A Honest Review

What I Liked

The way teacher interact with the students
Infrastructures are good, and evening view

What I didn’t like

Restrictions are there very much , we have to be smart.
Strictness of attendance , atleast 80 percent is required per sem

Placement Experience:

Placement criteria is you should not be involved in any type of mischievous thing in the academy for whole 4 to 5 years. A lot of MNCs visit the college and the college is well reputed so everything is good.

Remarks:

Yes, we have to give its exam, there is another option of non cet too but for the ones who had scored good in jee. Cutoff of hee should be approx 80 percentile. Admission process requires a lot of documents to be submitted on Mumbai.

Nmims shipur all you want to know.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is awesome but we have great ac modern classroom with led screen mode of teaching is throughppt and some prefer writting on digital board, we have well equpied labs for research and we have bosch lab,DBMS,computer network lab, physics and many more labs which have over 10 cr with of equipment. Enough for all student
Campus life is great crowd is fantastic it will give you a vibe of mini India as we have student coming from all over the country. We have many clubs and societies to give your passion the wings you need to show them to world. We have different events rolling on throughout the year. You will never get bored as there is always something to do but choice is yours many students just waste their time slepping in hostels rooms.

What I didn’t like

College is strict for marks and attendance if you don't have 70% attendance you are not allowed to give papers and with that come a trip to home for a whole sem sadly even if you have 3 backlog you can't take it to next year you have to pass them is same year if not again there is home trip for one whole year but you can tae max of 2 backlog to next year's.
You have to wear college shirt everyday to college that may refresh school memories.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not that up to mark but you have ton of opportunity as mumbai and shirpur campus placement are held in Mumbai campus. Proper training is give student are made industry ready. 50%get placed with avg of 8lpa and highest of 19lpa and lowest of 5lpa.

Remarks:

You have to give nmims cet getting addmission is not a big deal. Exam is easy very low cutoff . Remaining seats are given through direct admission at University you just have to give interview. Interview is simple just revise 12 basics

All about Nmims shirpur

What I Liked

I love the campus life over here , from the greenery , to away from city life hustle, good education, well to do with sports,
I like the infrastructure and amenities that they provide over there a student can comfortably live

What I didn’t like

Campus being located in car away place from city leads us to get isolated from world and we don't know what going outside of the campus . Which would lead to live in a city
Mentality of students and faculty. With major focus on academics they don't focus on excellence and other things that a students need to get a good job . With everyone being in their comfort zone leads people not grow vs the students that live in city

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good as compared to other colleges with avg CTC of 8-9 LPa due to mba we opt in Mumbai . With good placement cell and assurance to 100% placement. There are 2 internships done in 5 years 1st internship - industrial internship for 28 days which can be outsourced by yourself or else company will proved you . 2nd- management intership at 4th year for 3 months which on other hand is difficult to bag if sourced by campus and if you have food contacts you can do it by your own. Numerous companies comes for recruitment Be it lupi Zydus Cadilla Intas Etc Placement criteria is you should have a good cgpa And different companies provides toh different roles . With highest package till date has been 20LPA CTC and avg 8-9LPA

Remarks:

Good aspect is that The college lays it's major focus on academics , i.e builds a mentality where in you score good marks throughout the 3 years Which helps students to get a good grip on Pharmaceutical knowledge. Ranked 11th in NIRF for this course Having the tag of Nmims attracts alot of companies to hire you , with 100% placement assistance that nonither college gives you , with a avg package of 8-9LPA that no other college provides . We can take admission by giving nmimscet exam for my course and MHCET for Bpharm only . You need to get ranked in 500 to get your seat , my merit list was 343. And with that you should have scored above 45% in board exam.you would be merited out and if you qualify that you can take direct admission.Nmimscet generally consists of 11th and 12th PCB+general aptitude+ english vacbulary or recent affairs as it's syallabus for exam

The beautiful River Side Campus

What I Liked

I all I like all because the qualities provided are just phenomenal.
The best river side campus I have ever seen before. With best infrastructure, greenery, social life and faculty all are best.

What I didn’t like

As the campus is huge there is no facility of E-vehicle for the students for going here to there. Except students all staff can access this facility.

Placement Experience:

The placement are the best, means the average package is starts from 6.5 lack per annum. And best package can goes upto 22 lacks. You can obtain best package from this campus but that it upto your knowledge and qualifications. Many recruiters are visited every year , some of them are Oracle , offers from 12 LPA To 22 LPA. ICICI Offers 8 LPA to 14 LPA. M.L Group offers 17.5 LPA. TCS Offers 6 to 8.5 LPA. Delta X offers 7.5LPA Like these , many recruiters get visited every year with good packages.

Remarks:

At my time the admission process was simple, I got selected for this collage through interview. But now in 2024 you have to give the entrance test for admission which is called NPAT and as per the cut-off of that time you will get selected for the admission. NOTE:- No cap round.

What I Liked

The College playgrounds and the library
And the mess and the swimming pool and the interior of the college

What I didn’t like

Nothing else all is well in that price range and it is so comfortable to live there

Placement Experience:

The highest package students get last year is about 23 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 8 lakh. And there are various companies they visit on our campus such as Google, Amazon, and infosys. etc.

Remarks:

I faced an interview during the admission process when I was asked some basic knowledge questions based on the 12th board and they me some maths questions to solve to check my IQ level then they eligible me to fill out their registration form.

NMIMS Shirpur Campus

What I Liked

Campus has good sports facility which is the favourite thing of everyone.
Library is open till 9 and till 11 during exams . Every book in the syllabus is available in the library.

What I didn’t like

There are certain restrictions which are not liked , girls have in time of 9, whereas for boys it’s after 10.
Certain things are not allowed in hostel like lights , etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good . Even in the time of recession , placements were good in my college . Eligiblity criteria is CGPA . Every company has its own cgpa criteria . Also the computer languages known .

Remarks:

There was a written test , I got ranked and got the interview on the basis of the rank. Then I had to choose between the courses available , higher rank means more variety of courses available. The seats get occupied accordingly .

Good college for B.Tech

What I Liked

College and Hostel Infrastructure is good as compared to any other college is Maharashtra
Faculty is highly educated and very friendly

What I didn’t like

Campus life after some days feels bored if you like to roam around
Hostel is very strict after 10 am if can not Roam in Hostel

Placement Experience:

Yes, College guarantees you 100% placement. College have a great placement record from past Since 2007. Placement starts from the 3rd year itself. Yes, the College provides Internships after 3rd year. Many Big Companies com for placement program like Samsung, ICICI Prudential Fund, TCS, ORACLE, etc.

Remarks:

Yes, They have their test known as NMIMS CET for admission in this college and If you are taking admission without the exam then they take your Interview. For the preparation, you have to refer to your 11th and 12th syllabus. If you are selected for my exam then the admission process will be at the main campus at NMIMS Mumbai Vile Parle Campus.
