PRSU Admission Dates 2026

PRSU is conducting admission for the 2026-27 academic year through CUET UG, CUET PG, and the university CET for selected courses. UG counselling is in progress on the basis of CUET UG 2026 results.

PRSU Courses and Fees

PRSU runs more than 100 programmes at UG, PG, integrated, and doctoral levels. Since it is a government university, its fee structure remains affordable for students across Uttar Pradesh.

The integrated BBA+MBA costs INR 1.72 Lakhs in total, while the 5-year B.Tech+M.Tech in AI and Data Science costs INR 3.23 Lakhs. PRSU also offers focused courses such as LLM in Maritime Law and PG-level Agriculture Sciences.

PRSU Admission Process

PRSU follows a centralised admission system. Seats are allotted through state counselling on the basis of CUET scores, course rules, and merit. The university does not offer seats through a management quota.

UG Admission (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA)

For UG courses, students must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised board. CUET UG scores are used for CUET-based courses, while Class 12 marks are considered for non-CUET courses.

BALLB (Hons.) Admission

Admission to the 5-year BALLB (Hons.) course requires a valid CLAT score. General category students must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks. CLAT 2027 for the next intake is scheduled on December 6, 2026.

B.Pharma Admission

For B.Pharma, students need 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics, along with at least 50% marks. Admission is offered through CUET UG or the university CET. General category closing ranks usually fall in the top 80 percentile range in CUET.

MBA and Integrated BBA+MBA Admission

The standalone MBA requires a bachelor degree with 50% marks and a valid CAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA score. The integrated BBA+MBA is open to students who have passed 10+2, and no separate management entrance test is needed. MBA admission for the 2027-29 batch will move ahead after CAT 2026 results, which are expected in January 2027.

PG and PhD Admission

MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and MCA admission requires a relevant bachelor degree in the matching subject area. CUET PG is the main selection basis. For PhD admission, applicants need a PG degree with at least 55% aggregate and a valid UGC NET, CSIR NET, or JRF score. Candidates with a JRF fellowship can get direct PhD admission.

PRSU Career Outcomes

PRSU does not run large campus placement drives like many private engineering or management institutes. Career paths depend on the course. A large number of UG students prepare for government exams or continue with higher studies.

PRSU MBA and MCA students from the Prayagraj campus usually seek opportunities in regional IT and banking firms. For BALLB students, Prayagraj’s administrative and legal environment supports pathways linked to law and government service.

PRSU Campus and Infrastructure

PRSU’s main campus is at Saraswati High-tech City, Naini, Prayagraj. It is in an urban-adjacent area of Naini, about 12 km from the Prayagraj city centre.

The university provides separate hostels for boys and girls. Its campus includes departmental buildings for Science, Commerce, Law, and Management, along with a central library and computer labs. Since PRSU is an affiliating university, a large part of its teaching setup is spread through 156 affiliated colleges in Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, and Pratapgarh.

The Naini campus is close to the Naini industrial corridor. This location is useful for B.Pharma and science students looking for internships in pharmaceutical and chemical industries in the region.

PRSU Scholarships

PRSU students can apply for state and central government scholarship schemes. The university supports applications through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and the UP Scholarship Portal.

Students should complete registration on the UP Scholarship Portal early in the academic year to avoid delays. The NSP window usually opens in July and closes by October each year.
