What I Liked

The faculty are nice and very understanding.
The infrastructure is not yet well built but looks promising

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is not built yet and is a little disappointing.
There's not much to do around the campus

Placement Experience:

AKS partners, Algo legal, ALMT Legal... No clue about the placement as I'm in the first year. Last year 56 students received placements. I plan to go towards corporate law or legal consulting. I am not sure if ill go towards A PHD.

Internships Opportunities:

I have opted for a internship in Desai Law Office, Hyderabad I had no stipend in the first year, my main task was legal researcher the main task was in regards to corporate law and legal internship opportunities are sent via mail to all students where they can contact the internship cell to show interest.

Nlu is a race

What I Liked

Friendly, cooperative and supportive faculties.
Campus is quite peaceful and calm with a touch of subtle natural light.

What I didn’t like

There is lack of accessibility to basic needs which are at a considerable distance but yet out of reach some times.
Preference to other cultures is ignored on a major level.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually an attempt of the students previous internships firms are invited by the students contacts most of the time. And many top firms pay a visit at the institution along with conducting guest lectures.

Internships Opportunities:

Many of the times students get internships on their own whereas Letter of Recommendation from the institution plays quite a role. And usually there are opportunities of unpaid internships with a slight advantage.

What I Liked

I love my university campus. The atmostphere and weather cannot be forgotten.
As far as the infrastructure is concerned, recently the UNIVERSITY builing has been constructed and it looks fantastic.

What I didn’t like

Faculty is not good. The university has to improve on the quality of faculties.
Placements area needs to be improved. In this era of inflation, if law students are not getting high paying jobs, then it creates a burden in repaying loans which their families took.

Placement Experience:

Placements & job opportunities are there. But being a newly established NLU, this University students face tough times for being recruited. I graduated in 2022 and since then I have been practicing Law at Jharkhand High Court. As we are in 2024, at this moment, many students from my batch have been working in law firms some are working in MNCs and some are practicing before Courts of Law in India.

Internships Opportunities:

I have interned with Jaggi, Jaggi & Jaggi International Attorneys, Blacks & Whites Law Consultants LLP, and in the Office of Mr. Prashant Pallav, DSGI, Jharkhand High Court, KPS Advocates, Gurugram. Others from my batch have interned with Samvad, AZB, TRILEGAL, etc.

What I Liked

The supportive nature of seniors and the curriculum is what i personally find the best about the college.
Being a new college it is growing on a very fast pace.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is not build completely which can bring some discomfort.
The teaching methods of the faculties is not very good and this makes a hurdle for the students to understand and study what the faculties are teaching.

Placement Experience:

There is no such placement but the students have secured various PPOs, and the college does provide help if needed in securing internships and placements. Recently some of the students from the pass-out batch secured jobs at Trilegal And Luthra and Luthra law firms.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities provided by the college are at NGOs, district courts and Law libraries. Moreover, if a student opts to find an internship on their own the institution provides all the support they can to facilitate the same.
