Admission to the 125-seat MBBS programme depends only on a candidate's NEET UG rank. MCC conducts four counselling rounds for these seats. In 2025, the final-round closing rank for the General category was 9,475.

AIIMS Deoghar MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2026

Admission note: Compared with older AIIMS campuses, AIIMS Deoghar has regularly closed at a higher rank. A General category rank between 9,000 and 10,000 may receive a seat in the final round. Keeping AIIMS Deoghar in the choice list for every round can improve the possibility of allotment.

AIIMS Deoghar PG Admission 2026

The INI CET July 2026 seat matrix assigns 57 postgraduate seats to AIIMS Deoghar. These seats cover clinical and pre-clinical MD and MS specialisations, MDS in Paediatric Dentistry, and the 6-year DM/MCh programme in Paediatric Surgery.

AIIMS New Delhi conducts INI CET twice each year through January and July sessions. Applicants complete counselling at aiimsexams.ac.in because AIIMS Deoghar does not run a separate postgraduate counselling process.

Major clinical departments have the following seats: Anaesthesiology 8, General Medicine 5, General Surgery 5, Obstetrics and Gynaecology 4, Paediatrics 4, and Orthopaedics 4.

The INI CET rank is the only basis for postgraduate selection. There is no upper age condition or limit on the number of attempts. During the multiple counselling rounds, applicants may enter any number of institute and specialisation preferences.

Seat acceptance note: An applicant who accepts an allotted seat but does not join must pay a penalty of INR 3,00,000. A seat should therefore be accepted only when the applicant plans to join it.

The official AIIMS Deoghar INI CET cutoff for 2026 has not yet been released.

AIIMS Deoghar provides 62 B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing seats exclusively for female applicants. AIIMS New Delhi conducts the entrance examination, and admission is completed through four counselling rounds at aiimsexams.ac.in after results are declared.

Seats are allotted from the rank secured in the AIIMS B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing entrance examination, with no interview stage. The allotment process uses the applicant's rank, category, and campus preferences. Four counselling rounds are conducted, including a spot round.

At AIIMS Deoghar, the 2025 Round 3 closing ranks were 1,929 for General, 3,487 for OBC, 3,701 for EWS, 10,144 for SC, and 14,340 for ST.

AIIMS Deoghar Scholarship 2026

Students at AIIMS Deoghar may apply for Central Government schemes through the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in.
