The first major factor for me was that this college was in my state itself, the second and the most important factor for a college student is that this is a government college which comes under the ministry of railways and this college is also in the GFTI category, which means that the government gives funds to this college, and this is the one and only railway college in the whole country. The only bad aspect for some of the student will be that , the college rules are very strict, you must have to follow those rules otherwise disciplinary action will be taken on you. To get admission in thsi college you have to give the jee mains exam , and according to your percentile , branches will be allot to you , and there is no any type of group discussion in this college before the admission. CUT OFF to get into this college is different for all category peoples, like one in general, obc, sc/st. FOR the jee mains exam you must be good in your 11th and 12th class studies.

college is really good as it has good infrastructure . all room are air conditioned with attach bathroom. very neat and clean . curriculum is acc. to industry. as it high chances of jobs in aviation branch by airbus. mess food is really good and proper diet is given to all student. library is very less and large part of it is under construction which would complete in year 2006. sports facility less and the campus is shared with nair. sports area is available for some hour.

Admission is completely based upon your jee mains percentile score . Main reason of choosing this college was it's specialization in Railways domain. Right now as admission is taken through jossa counseling only and for vacant seats CSAB Round is utilized.

The campus is green and beautiful. there are peacocks in the campus. the overall academics is good. teachers are good and educated.Most of the teachers are cooperative. We are provided with internship opportunities for every year student form college itself. We are taken to industrial visits atleast once per semester.

In this college I got a admission through csab counselling. According to your jee mains rank you get admission in various branch .After you selected in csab counselling you have toh pay seat acceptance fees .

I chose this bcz it is associated with indian railways and the railway minister is the chancellor of our college .The college is growing very fast and the railway minister(ashwinin vaishnav) assured that the college will enter in top 10 in next 5 years .There is no probleum mof funds to the college . The infrastructure is growing very fast more than 750 cr are passed for current construction and the college campus will be soon expanded by 31 hectares soon current area-55 acres soon 55+76 acres I chose this bcz I found it best and I did't applied for others

This college is under the ministry of railway and facilities is good like sports ,clubs ,ac rooms hostels and free medical facility and well desined And zero ragging camps ,campus is beautiful and Faculty teach us friendly in manner

Jee mains percentile is the criteria for admission . NO managment quota as it is a central university. Cutoff to increse every year as it is a developing college. 4000 cr funding given to college by goverment to build new infrastructure.

i have scored 94 percentile , with such score in general category you won't be getting any good nit aur gfti , so i choosed GSV because of its growth rate. some good aspects of GSV are its a central university under railway ministry. Also we are provided internship every year for four years which makes us industry ready. Fees is the other reason where other normal private colleges take around 15 lakhs for complete btech in gsv would just have to pay 992800 for complete btech program. some bad aspects are: hectic schedule, bad infrasturcture, hostel issue(for 1st year boys only).

I chose this course because of its unique specialization in Railway Engineering. The admission criteria is that you should have a valid score in the JEE mains examination with a percentile greater than 85%tile for the General Students. There is no other interviews conducted for admission.
