Sourashtra College Madurai offers admission to aided Courses and Self-Finance Courses in B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, and BCA programs at the undergraduate level and M.A., M.Com, M.Sc., MBA, and MCA degree program at the postgraduate level along with Ph.D., M.Phil, and Certificate courses. Sourashtra College admission to the majority of courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination except for the MBA and MCA courses where admission is entrance based.

  • B.Sc admissions are offered to candidates who have passed class 12th in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology with at least 35% aggregate marks. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the subject he/she is applying for. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and personal interview.
  • B.Com, B.A., and BBA Admission at the undergraduate level are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the higher secondary or 10+2 in the relevant stream from a recognized board with at least 35% marks.
  • For admission to postgraduate courses such as M.A., M.Sc, and M.Com candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree from any UGC-recognized University with minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Candidates are selected on the basis of merit in their qualifying examination and as per the cut-off list released by the college followed by personal interview.
  • MBA Admission is given on valid MAT / TANCET scores
  • For admission to MCA course, candidates must pass 10+2 with mathematics as a subject, and must have a graduate degree in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science as a subject. The final selection is done on the basis of scores in TANCET.
  • M.Phil and Ph.D. admissions are granted on the basis of a Personal Interview conducted by Madurai Kamaraj University. To be eligible for admission, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 70% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
