MICA PGDM-C and PGDM Admission 2027

PGDM-C and PGDM are two-year residential programmes under the School of Management. Both follow the same three-stage route, but PGDM gives stronger weight to quantitative ability.

MICA first checks psychometric fit. After that, it reviews the national exam score, MICAT aptitude section and MICAT writing section. Only students who clear all these checks are called for GE and PI.

MICA PGDM Selection Criteria 2027

The final list is prepared after four filters. Each filter works like a gate, so a student moves ahead only after clearing the previous one.

  • Step 1: MICAT Section A, the psychometric test, is reviewed first.
  • Step 2: CAT, XAT or GMAT performance is checked next, and a minimum cut-off is applied.
  • Step 3: MICAT Section C, the aptitude test, is then assessed after normalisation.
  • Step 4: Section B, the descriptive test, is evaluated only after the earlier checks are cleared.
  • Students who pass all four filters get shortlisted for Group Exercise and Personal Interview.
  • During the interview, a majority of panellists must recommend the student. Without that, selection stops.

The MICA admission form and the MICAT form are the same. Students do not fill a second institute form after taking the test.
