After 4.5 years, there is 1 year of internship in which students are paid on monthly basis by the state government. Post UG, one easily gets a job as medicine is always in demand. However placements offered by college are poor, one shall not rely on the college.

MBBS is the most sort after course, you are easily placed as an MO( medical officer), you can also clear the NEET PG exam or NEXT now to get admission to PG courses directly after MBBS. You don't need to worry about placements in a medical college.

There is 1 year internship after completion of MBBS course which is 4.5 years. This helps a lot of student in their clinical practice. The attached hospital named Rajindra Hospital is there for the clinical practice of Students. During the PG Course, the College provides a separate pg hostel and job in Rajindra hospital.

In the MBBS course, after you complete 4.5 years you get an internship for 1 year which offers around ?20000 per month currenty in Punjab. After MBBS you can appear for NEXT exam and get selected in MD/MS or you can also serve as medical practitioner as you will have your MBBS degree with you. And as there is no bond in medical colleges of punjab(there is a bond in most other states) so you are free to practice anywhere you want after you complete your degree.
