The online application window is open from October 25 to October 27, 2024, with security deposit requirements varying based on the type of college.

Eligibility For Stray Vacancy Round
- Candidates who have registered but are not holding a seat from Rounds I, II, or III are eligible to apply.
- Security Deposit:
- Government Colleges: INR 10,000 (INR 5,000 for SC/BC)
- Private Colleges: INR 2,00,000
- Candidates must fill out the application on the BFUHS portal and pay the required security deposit to be eligible for seat allotment.
Note: The security deposit of candidates who do not join the allotted seat in the Stray Vacancy Round will be forfeited and such candidates will be debarred from taking the NEET exam for the next year.
Who Is Not Eligible For The Stray Vacancy Round?
The following categories of candidates are not eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round:
- Candidates who have not registered for the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Candidates joined/holding any seat at the time of the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Candidates were allotted a seat in Round 3 and NOT REPORTED.
Note: Already registered candidates who have deposited the security amount in the 2nd & 3rd round counselling and to whom no seat is allotted in the 2nd & 3rd Rounds, need not deposit the security amount again. However, they will have to submit their willingness to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round, through the online portal of the University.
Registration Fees

- Applications for the NRI quota must be submitted separately, with the form available on the university website.
- Sikh and Christian Minority candidates must report to their respective institutes for verification.
- Up-gradation is not allowed in the Stray Vacancy Round of Punjab NEET counselling
