What I Liked

Faculty is professional at their work. Great college of the state in terms of teaching
Both college and hospital are attached in the same campus

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is not great enough in today's scenario
No annual fests are held in this college for past 2 years

Remarks:

Neet is the only entrance test. An online counselling through MCC or CGDME is done. This is the Second best college in Chhattisgarh state. I prepared for Neet exam through coaching. I choose this college because it is well connected through rail, bus and a nearby airport as well.

Good or moderately appreciated

What I Liked

Campus is small but good nature vibes .most of the time is festive mood and many other extracurricular activities related to sports, arts and academics are held.
Hospital and garden is renewated recently and it looks good. all the departments are quite supportive during exams .

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is quite old for hostel both for girls and boys.
Hostel mess food is not much good .you have to search for other options.

Remarks:

Easy and good social living because it is in the city . No group discussion or PI for admissions . May fests and celebrations excited me to join this college . 2nd top college of the Chhattisgarh . Good patient exposure because old hospital.

Story of a medical student

What I Liked

Campus life is good and college infrastructure and all facilities all provide to u
Seniors of college are very supportive they treat as their brothers

What I didn’t like

There is little bit issue of hygiene in hostel premises especially in boys hostel
In our college event is not take place very frequently and there is low appearance of sport activites

Remarks:

I have to clear the neet exam before to get admission in college then the college is allocated by govt by a counselling process which is 2 month long and after that you go to college submit your bond 10 and 12 marksheet domicile certificate and income certificate

What I Liked

Campus life is very good as we have everything to keep ourselves engaged throughout the day.
Plenty number of Events and fests happen in our college .

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is very old and looks like hasn't been renovated since ages.
Campus is very small as compared to other medical colleges.

Remarks:

I scored 551 marks out of 720 in NEET exam 2020 . CIMS was the best option available through ews quota . So i opted for it . CIMS is also the second top college in chhattisgarh just next to JNMC raipur in college rankings.

Cims Bilaspur review

What I Liked

Fest of college are very amazing and attractive.
Study and faculty are amazing and helping.

What I didn’t like

Campus us too short but enough that you get in city
No large ground for sports there is only short ground

Remarks:

The college is good and the environment is also good. college is present in the city so no transport issue like in rural areas Exam only once a year for the final result of a full year and you get admission through neet exam.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good. Govt. Make a new super specialist hospital which helps a lot of peoples. Faculty is very experienced.
I very enjoy my campus life. Other than study I participate in downtown different academic programs.

What I didn’t like

Hostel needs renovation.. Hospital is also very old. Need upgradation.
Campus should be in outer area. More faculty required.

Remarks:

Get admission through NEET UG.. Basically common enterance test to get admission in all over medical colleges in India.. On the basis of no. & merit list You get medical college. In every colleges seat allocation for state & AIQ.

What I Liked

Very good fest culture which is called Rhythm takes place annually.
Good junior senior relationships which helps in long run and fest organising is very easy because of this and. These things affects campus life positively
Good spacious and well equipped auditorium is there within campus which hosts many cultural and soacial events.

What I didn’t like

Very small campus size which limits many sports opportunities and grand fest chances
Hostels condition are very poor and are there with just minimum requirements

Remarks:

For entrance qualifying NEET exam is necessary Total 180 seats 85% state quota and all other reservations are there Good Aspects 1. well established since the year 2001 2. well-connected hospital with good patient inflow 3. New cancer care is under construction( almost completed) 4. very good location almost in the heart of the city 5. Good culture and departments all NMC rules are followed strictly 6. Very good cultural fests and parties are organized frequently Bad aspects 1. very small campus in comparison 2. area for sports activities and others are very limited 3. hostels inside campuses are very old and need renovation 4. very limited or no room for research activities you have to follow a predetermined culture and complete your course Conclusion. Overall a good college to choose all things are above average and no major disappointments at all(if you are a sports enthusiast you should look for other options) Rest everything is fine and the good professors and seniors are nice and helpful and well behaved.
