Likes
- Infrastructure is good. Govt. Make a new super specialist hospital which helps a lot of peoples. Faculty is very experienced.
- I very enjoy my campus life. Other than study I participate in downtown different academic programs.
Dislikes
- Hostel needs renovation.. Hospital is also very old. Need upgradation.
- Campus should be in outer area. More faculty required.
Remarks :
Get admission through NEET UG.. Basically common enterance test to get admission in all over medical colleges in India.. On the basis of no. & merit list You get medical college. In every colleges seat allocation for state & AIQ.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Total duration of course is 5.5year(including 1 year of internship). Total 19 subjects in 1st year - 3 subject, 2nd year- 3 subject, 3rd year - 4 subject & final year - 4 major subject & other minor subjects. Facilities are very experienced. From 2nd year clinical posting started where you go into hospital & see the patient . There is also a scholarship program for socioeconomically weak patient. For scholarship annual income criteria is fixed on the basis of category. Fees vary on colleges average fee for govt. Colleges is around 50,000/- per year
Internships Opportunities :
Once you pass your final year exam.. You are eligible for 1 year internship. Program in which you get posted in different different department of months & weeks. In internship you also get stipend in my college stipend is 15,900/- per month which vary on different states.
Placement Experience :
Once you complete your internship you get posted is PHC, CHC & DH in rural area as a bond signed by the govt. For 2 year. If you not willing to do bond service you have to pay 25lakh. For all india student bond service is also mandatory.
Campus Life :
There is separate hostel for 1st year students & PG residents. Also a separate hostel for 2nd year to intern doctors. Library is attached with college building from where you get a book for studies. Play ground is also present is college not much big but good for daily activities. College fest organized in every year for 1 week. Total 3 mess in college.. Food quality is not very good but ok for survival.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
