Remarks :
Neet is the only entrance test. An online counselling through MCC or CGDME is done. This is the Second best college in Chhattisgarh state. I prepared for Neet exam through coaching. I choose this college because it is well connected through rail, bus and a nearby airport as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are highly qualified doctors and professors. There is lack of faculties and facilities in department that is why medical seats has decreased from 180 to 150. Course curriculum is directed by NMC but it seems more theoretical. However internship opportunity make students industry ready.There are annual exams with 3 internal exams each year. For 4.5 years there will be 4 Annual University exams. Passing marks 50%. Students Passing percentage is 90-95%
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is provided in medical college hospital itself. There is one year of compulsory rotatory medical internship which is included in course. Internship is done in all the different subjects.
Placement Experience :
Internship is the part of curriculum with salary of 16000 per month. 2 year bond service with minimum salary of 50000 per month. Almost 100% students get placement in this college as bond service for 2 years.

1st year - ?50000(?4000 caution money refundable) 2nd year - ?46000 3rd year - ?46000 4th year - ?46000 5th half year-?26000 Hostel fee - ?3500 per year Scholarship for ST SC and OBC - ?50000 roughly.
Campus Life :
There are in total 19 departments. There are 5 lecture theatres and several demo rooms. Each non clinical department has its own lab. No Wifi . There is an air conditioned Central Library for issuing books. Some departments have their own Library. Air conditioned study room. Boys Hostel are not too good but okay from a hosteller perspective. Generally 2 students live in a hostel room. There are 2 mess and you can choose to eat from anyone. Bathrooms are not attached with room. Bed, table , chair are provided by hostel but air cooler is to be bought by students. Water coolers for drinking water is available at mess and at some wings. Food is okay in taste and mess fee in around 3000 Rs . No canteen . There is a badminton court, a playground, a park, a basketball court, an auditorium.
Hostel Facilities :
For hostel one have to write application to hostel superintendent . Desk ,chair, bed, almirah is provided in hostel. Food is good in taste can't say if it is hygienic. Mess fee-?3000 per month approx 2 Mess are there in boys hostel.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
