DMCH Ludhiana Admission Dates 2026

DMCH Ludhiana admission for MBBS, MD, and MS in the 2026-27 session is linked to NEET UG and NEET PG. Seats are allotted through BFUHS Punjab counselling. As of October 2026, the following admission and counselling events are still active.

For B.Sc Allied Health Sciences and diploma courses, DMCH uses its own entrance test and merit-based selection for the remaining seats. Students should check the admission notice at dmch.edu for allied health science intake dates.

DMCH Ludhiana Courses and Fees

DMCH Ludhiana offers MBBS, MD/MS, DM/M.Ch, nursing, allied health sciences, clinical psychology, optometry, and diploma courses. The MBBS fee changes by quota, and the state quota amount rises across the course years.

For MBBS under the state quota, Year 1 costs INR 4,55,250, made up of INR 4,47,000 tuition fee and INR 8,250 other fees. The fee is INR 4,90,000 in Year 2, INR 5,36,000 in Year 3, INR 5,81,000 in Year 4, and INR 3,13,000 in Year 5, which is the internship year. The total management quota MBBS fee is INR 61 lakhs over five years.

For MD clinical specialities, the Year 1 fee is INR 6,68,700, including INR 18,700 as other fees. The Year 2 and Year 3 fee is INR 6,60,000 each. For DM and M.Ch super-specialty courses, Year 1 costs INR 7,98,700, while Year 2 and Year 3 cost INR 7,90,000 each.

DMCH Ludhiana Admission Process

DMCH Ludhiana fills its medical seats through national entrance exams. MBBS admission cannot be taken directly or through a management route without NEET UG because NMC rules require NEET-based selection.

MBBS Admission (State and Management Quota)

For MBBS, students must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The minimum aggregate is 50% for General category students and 40% for SC/ST/OBC students. Foreign nationals who are GATE-eligible and NRI applicants can apply through separate NBE channels.

DM and M.Ch Admission (Super-Specialty)

DM and M.Ch courses in Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Critical Care, Neurosurgery, CVTS, Plastic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Urology use NEET SS for admission. NBE conducts this exam. Applicants must have the required MD or MS qualification in the relevant parent speciality.

Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Admission

B.Sc Nursing admission is handled through BFUHS Punjab nursing counselling and is based on 10+2 Biology marks and NEET UG score. B.Sc Allied Health Sciences admission is through a DMCH-level entrance test held after the 10+2 result. Diploma admission in allied health fields is based on 10+2 merit.

DMCH does not follow a regular campus placement model for MBBS students.
