Internship is provided by the college itself here and it is compulsory in the 5th year or MBBS. You have to serve in all the 19 departments and will have rural postings. You will be paid stipend during that phase.

There is no such thing as placements. We have to work in the hospital under doctors for 1 year after the completion of 4 year mbbs course with a minimum stifund. After which we can persue higher studies such as post graduate course in the mbbs field and work in our desired hospitals.

in MBBS - you have to complete internship in the same college and placement depends on NEET PG ranking. But for other streams the placements are really good. Ramaiah also tied up with well reputed colleges in foreign countries which could be an advantage for the students
