MLNMC Admission Process

MLNMC fills every seat through NEET merit and the counselling conducted by MCC or DGME UP. Direct admission, donation seats and a management quota are not available. The 200 MBBS seats are divided into 30 AIQ seats and 170 state quota seats.

  1. Meet the eligibility conditions for the selected programme.
  2. Take NEET UG for MBBS or NEET PG for an MD, MS, DM or PG Diploma programme.
  3. Register with MCC for the applicable All India Quota or with DGME UP for the Uttar Pradesh state quota.
  4. Enter and lock college and course choices during the counselling window.
  5. Accept the allotted seat, complete document checks and report to the college within the stated deadline.

MBBS Admission

A valid NEET UG score is compulsory for MBBS admission. DGME UP allocates 85% of seats using the Uttar Pradesh state merit rank, and MCC handles the remaining 15% All India Quota. The NEET UG 2025 AIQ General Category closed at rank 10,455, corresponding to a score of 554. The state quota closed in a comparable range. Competition remains high because MLNMC was placed at rank 42 in NIRF Medical 2024.

  • Applicants must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. General Category students need at least 50% marks, while SC, ST and OBC applicants need 40% marks.
  • Students must be at least 17 years old on December 31 of the admission year.
  • All 200 seats are allotted through NEET merit, without a management quota.

MD, MS and DM Admission

Admission to postgraduate medical courses depends on NEET PG performance. MLNMC has 164 PG seats across MD, MS and DM, with MD/MS options spanning 21 specialties. MCC PG fills 50% of seats through AIQ counselling, and DGME UP fills the other 50% through state counselling. General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics and Radiodiagnosis usually attract stronger competition than preclinical branches.

  • Applicants need an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised medical college.
  • A qualifying NEET PG score is compulsory.
  • The compulsory 1-year rotating internship must be finished before the MCC counselling registration deadline.

MLNMC Placements and Career Outcomes

MLNMC does not conduct conventional campus placements because it is a government clinical training college. After MBBS, graduates commonly prepare for NEET PG, join the Uttar Pradesh government health service, apply to the Armed Forces Medical Service or begin private clinical practice.
