LLRM Medical College Admission Dates 2027

NEET UG 2027 will form the basis of MBBS admission for the 2027-28 session. All India Quota seats will be allotted through MCC counselling, while DMET Lucknow will manage the Uttar Pradesh State quota. MD and MS applicants must follow the separate NEET PG admission cycle.

LLRM Medical College Courses and Fees

The MD course spans 17 clinical and preclinical fields. Training for the M.Ch in Neuro Surgery and DM in Endocrinology takes place through the attached teaching hospital. Clinicians seeking a shorter diploma-level qualification can choose the PG Diploma courses in Child Health and Ophthalmology.

LLRM Medical College Admission Process

The college has no separate entrance test. Admission depends on the relevant NEET examination, followed by counselling through MCC for central quota seats or DMET Lucknow for Uttar Pradesh quota seats.

MBBS Admission

Each year, LLRM Medical College fills 150 MBBS seats through the All India Quota and Uttar Pradesh State quota. The admission steps are:

• Complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. General category students need at least 50% in aggregate, while SC, ST and OBC students need 40%.
• Appear for and qualify in NEET UG, which is compulsory for MBBS admission.
• Apply through MCC counselling for the 15% All India Quota seats.
• Use the DMET Lucknow counselling process for the remaining 85% UP State quota seats.
• Complete document verification, seat acceptance and fee payment after receiving an allotment.

For the General category under the All India Quota, the NEET UG 2024 closing rank was 5,881. This represented moderate competition among government medical colleges in western Uttar Pradesh.

MD/MS Admission

Applicants can choose from 17 MD specialisations and six MS surgical disciplines after completing the required MBBS training. The process is as follows:

• Hold an MBBS degree from a recognised institution and complete the compulsory rotating internship.
• Obtain a valid NEET PG score.
• Participate in MCC counselling for the 50% All India Quota or DMET Lucknow counselling for the 50% State quota.
• Finish admission formalities after the allotted seat is accepted.

M.Ch and DM Admissions

Admission to the M.Ch in Neuro Surgery and DM in Endocrinology is based on NEET SS, conducted by the National Board of Examinations. Applicants must have completed an MD or MS in the relevant parent speciality. Only a limited number of seats are offered.

LLRM Medical College Placements and Career Outcomes

LLRM Medical College does not follow a conventional campus placement system. Graduates generally move into the compulsory Uttar Pradesh service bond, prepare for NEET PG, join government or private hospitals, or enter academic medicine.

Many MBBS graduates take NEET PG and move into MD or MS training once their bond obligation is complete. Internship and bond service at the high-volume teaching hospital provide regular clinical exposure. Alumni work in district hospitals, teaching institutions and private clinics across western Uttar Pradesh.

LLRM Medical College Scholarships

LLRM Medical College Campus and Infrastructure

Spread across 151 acres in Meerut, the campus is one of the larger government medical college sites in western Uttar Pradesh. Its attached hospital has more than 1,040 beds and supports training in the main medical and surgical specialities.

Students have access to smart classrooms, specialised clinical and preclinical laboratories, sports facilities, a central library with a reading hall, and separate hostel buildings for men and women. The hospital receives patients from Meerut and nearby districts through its emergency, outpatient and inpatient services. Its bed capacity gives undergraduate and postgraduate students extensive opportunities for supervised clinical work.

More than 400 faculty members teach across the MBBS and postgraduate departments. The large site also accommodates separate buildings for clinical and preclinical departments.

LLRM Medical College vs GSVM Medical College vs SN Medical College Agra

LLRM Medical College, GSVM Medical College in Kanpur and Sarojini Naidu Medical College in Agra are major government medical institutions outside Lucknow. Applicants to these colleges compete through the same Uttar Pradesh NEET State quota pool, and the three institutions have broadly comparable fees and service bond arrangements.

Meerut's closeness to the National Capital Region makes LLRM more accessible to students from western Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. GSVM and SN Medical College are older, enrol more MBBS students and usually have more competitive NEET cutoffs. Graduates of all three colleges generally follow similar career routes within the Uttar Pradesh government health system after completing their bonds.
