I have cleared IMUCET entrance exam to join this college in this course This college I chose because it is easily accessible for me and fee is low when compared to other colleges I prepared well for this entrance exam and i cleared with a nice ranking

No there is no such interview and discussion you just have to clear the entire exam and apply for college. The main reason to go there is because the college is IMU affiliated so this means you will get a degree from in itself. For those who don't know IMU is Indian Maritime University and its degree value a lot. There are many colleges which affiliate with imu but there reason you Choose CMC is the fees, The fees of CMC are very low then other marine colleges that's it. But as the fees are low you have to compromise with hostel food and a little bit of academics, and if you are from northside you have to face a lot it is my personal experience but if you will manage to adapt then it is easy.

I joined the college with the outside look, no group discussion, no interviews and no written tests for admission only needed to pay an advance of 10000 for reserving the seat and we nee to come to college on the first day and pay the remaining fees

Based on your rankings only you will get a college. you can choose by your college on your own. Or you can directly get admission to this college by just clearing the exam. To join this college you must secure an all-rank holder in Imucet. For me our school teacher guide me to clear this exam . The exam is not much difficult. I secure a 3500 rank in Imus. The exam syllabus is your pcm subject only. You can easily clear the exam. Once you clear the exam you can get admission to Coimbatore Marine College. Before writing the exam you can register in Coimbatore Marine by paying 15000. If you did not clear the Imucet exam the amount Will not be refunded
