Fr.CRCE, the pinnacle of Engineering

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since autonomy has come into our college, there has been several improvement to the syllabus, introducing new LLC courses such as photography, sports technology, culinary, law for engineers, etc and the list is long. Due to autonomy there has been several changes to the old fashioned syllabus that Mumbai University had and is an overall benefit for students.

Remarks:

I personally got admission through the ILS. This college is comparatively easier to travel than other colleges has good faculty and placements. Also I had contacted the alumni of this college regarding the overall experience and they really had a good time here. Also this college is close to my house.

Life at FRCRCE

Placement Experience:

Many high-profile companies visit our college for placements as well as internships, including UBS, Morgan Chase, Barclays, etc. The Placement office is in constant contact with such companies and such companies are invited to the college every year.

Remarks:

First and foremost, the technical teams and clubs, including aviation teams, formula racing teams as well as robotic teams present there, caught my eye. other than that, the placement opportunities at this college were pretty good too.

What I Liked

Placement is the only thing I like of thee college
There are Good Faculty members in the college

What I didn’t like

The College has a very pooR Infrastructure.
The College has a vey poor canteen facility.

Placement Experience:

The College offers a Decent placement and Brings New Companies Every Year eg TCS, INFOSIS, and GODREJ the highest package offered was 19 LPA last year and the average package of the college is 6lpa. The placement percentage is 70 percent every year.

Remarks:

The Factor that made me choose this College is the College Placement and the Reputation of the College in previous years. You Get this College through entrance exams like MHT-CET and JEE Mains. Last year's COMPUTER ENGINEERING cutoff was 92 percentile. in the spot round.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities are vast as many big and numerous companies come into our college for placement a student can apply for more than 10 companies for jobs. The highest package depends on the quality of the student and the skills a student has no matter how much u score in your exams it depends on the skills u have

What I Liked

Faculty is chill Attendance is chill Placements are decent Good tier 3 college Great location

What I didn’t like

Placements have drgraded in past years Bus comes late at bandra statio I dont what to write here but Canteen is not nice

Jp Morgan Barclays Quantiphi Deloitte, Tiaa, and many companies come for placements. Placements have started degrading now. Good cgpa is demanded. The market is not stable at the moment. GAURAV SEN is our alumni.

Remarks:

Beautiful mesmerizing campus and view surrounded by sea from all sides. Srk's house is nearby many old beautiful bungalows with regular star spotting. Every classroom has sea views. Even the drawing hall has sea views. Well-maintained basket ball court.

My experience at Fr.crce Bandra

What I Liked

Ambience , neighbourhood , quality of crowd all of them being very sophisticated
Ease of transport , faculty , fests all of them being high quality and efficient

What I didn’t like

No air-conditioned classrooms and old infrastructure
canteen (the cost being very high with not so much variety)

Placement Experience:

The employability is pretty good as the placements for our branch have always been at the top and verified companies recruit in the college. companies like Godrej and IBM have hired from our college.

Remarks:

I have just completed my first year in Fr. Conceicao college of engineering Bandra, Mumbai in the mechanical engineering department. Due to fewer admissions in the branch, I got admitted to the college through the institute quota (NO ILLEGAL DONATIONS) only a 1500 rupees form was an extra cost for the institute quota. No group discussions were taken it was a very smooth and simple procedure.

Good review

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria are based on attendant CGPA and a few companies were asking for internships The recruiters are Dollar Capital, startups and Accenture, TCS its highest package is 19 LPA and the average is 3 LPA.

Remarks:

The college is based in a good locality and the campus has one of the best views, the admission process includes two ways regular through cet, jee, and dse the cutoff is 90 percentile for regular after 12 and 84 for dse.

Fr.Concecaio Rodrigues College Of Engineering Bandra, Review Through A 1st Year Students Eyes ????

What I Liked

I Like The College Infrastructure Situated In Bandstand I get to see the awesome view of bandra sea and taj hotel, also the classes and benches are well maintained, and digital classrooms are there, labs are available for every activity irrespective of the branches
Secondly, i like the college faculty, they are very supportive, they provide all the required resources useful to crack the end semester exams, and help students understand concepts

What I didn’t like

Few Things I Dislike is the Canteen Food, The Caterer Hired By the College doesnt provide food thats good for student health for eg : who eats spring rolls that too heavily deep fried in morning, such things lead to acidity and some food items are overpriced

Placement Experience:

Campus Placement Takes Place Every Year, It Starts 3 years before the course, Students You have To Meet Criteria and Clear Certain Tests to Sit For Placements, In This Domain Also I Dont Have Much Idea As Im Still In 2nd Year? But According to Stats I Feel. The average package is 6lpa and the Highest is Around 15Lpa for the year 2021-2022.

Remarks:

I Had To Appear For the Mhtcet State Entrance Test, I Heard People Talking About this college and were even saying that this college comes in the top 5 colleges in Mumbai which we can get through the Mhtcet Exam, Due to the infrastructure, The Teachers, and Placement Stats, Curriculum, Events, etc.

A complete review on Father Conceicoa Rodrigues college of engineering

What I Liked

The quality of crowd in the college is really good, you'll get people from all different backgrounds. There will be so much yo learn from you peers in college while making memories. In my opinion fr crce has some of the most helpful, intelligent creative crowd among all colleges in mumbai
The college is situated at Bandstand bandra, and faces the Arabian sea on 3 sides. There are plenty of hangout location around and near the college. Along with it there are many clubs and community in the college which you can join after 1st year.

What I didn’t like

The canteen food is really bad, it's always cold soggy and not very tasty. The rates are quite unreasonable too for the quality that they provide. The stall outside of college serves better food than the canteen
college was started in the year 1984 which is why the infrastructure is quite old and outdated. You won't find any aur conditioned classrooms or hallway. There are only 4 lifts in the college for students which are definitely not enough. Apart from I don't have any complaints about the infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

The college offers both placement and internship opportunities to all the branches. Avg package differs with every branch but the overall average package of college is around 7LPA. Companies like Godrej and Boyce, Zycus, TCS, etc visit the college for placements.

Remarks:

Fr. Crce is a college situated at Bandra West, Mumbai. Admission to this college can be done through MHT-CET or JEE examination. The cut-off varies with the type of course that you opt for. in the case of my course i.e. computer engineering the cutoff was 97 percentile in mht cet for general students and 92 for Christian minority students. The college provides good placement and internship opportunities and it the college.
