B.Tech government-quota seats are allotted through APSCHE, while LIET handles management and NRI admissions directly. M.Tech applicants follow a separate APSCHE counselling process based on PGECET or GATE.

Lendi Institute Courses and Fees

LIET has seven B.Tech branches with a combined approved intake of 1,020 seats. It also runs four M.Tech specialisations. Every B.Tech branch follows the same total fee, and all M.Tech options share one fee structure.

CSE, AI and ML, and CSSE receive the highest enrolment demand at LIET. CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical Engineering hold NBA Tier-1 accreditation.

Lendi Institute Admission Process

LIET assigns 70% of its sanctioned B.Tech seats to the government quota. APSCHE fills these seats through AP EAPCET rank-based counselling. The remaining 30% fall under the management and NRI quotas.

B.Tech Admission

• Applicants must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. General and OBC students need at least 45% aggregate marks, while SC and ST students require 40%. AICTE norms determine the applicable age limit.
• AP EAPCET is the main entrance route. LIET also considers JEE Main scores when filling management-quota seats.
• The government-quota process includes obtaining an AP EAPCET rank, registering online with APSCHE, completing certificate verification, entering web options, receiving a seat allotment, self-reporting and reporting to the college with original documents.

For General-category applicants, the AP EAPCET 2026 closing ranks for CSE at LIET were between 20,000 and 40,000, depending on the counselling round and branch. General-category closing ranks for ECE and EEE were usually above 60,000. Rank limits change across categories and counselling rounds.

M.Tech Admission

Government-quota M.Tech seats are filled through APSCHE counselling using PGECET, the Andhra Pradesh postgraduate engineering entrance examination, or GATE scores. LIET directly admits students to its management-quota M.Tech seats.

• Applicants need a relevant B.Tech or B.E. degree with at least 50% aggregate marks. A valid GATE or PGECET qualification is necessary for government-quota admission.
• Selection is based on a PGECET rank or GATE score during counselling. Management-quota applicants complete the institute-level admission process.

Lendi Institute Placements

More than 50 companies participated in LIET's 2025-26 placement season, during which the Training and Placement Cell recorded over 676 placements. Infosys made the largest number of offers at 143. Apollo Tyres followed with 86 offers, while Efftronics provided 70. According to NIRF 2025 data, placed students had a median salary of INR 5.5 LPA.

The recruiter list covers both IT services and core engineering. Efftronics and Zen Technologies regularly hire ECE and EEE students for defence-related roles. Apollo Tyres and KIA provide core manufacturing opportunities for graduates of Mechanical Engineering and EEE.

Lendi Institute Campus and Infrastructure

LIET's campus stands at Jonnada in Denkada Mandal on the Vizag-Vizianagaram National Highway. It is about 60 km from Visakhapatnam and about 16 km from Vizianagaram town, with road access to both places. Vizianagaram railway junction is the closest major railway station.

Facilities include a central library that has operated since 2008, simulation facilities, departmental computing laboratories, a sports complex, a canteen and separate hostel blocks for boys and girls. The transport fleet serves routes connecting the campus with Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam. CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical Engineering have dedicated laboratories and computing facilities that meet NBA Tier-1 audit requirements.

The institute has more than 200 faculty members for a student population exceeding 2,600. Students can use a dedicated counselling centre, while the alumni network includes professionals working in the IT and manufacturing sectors across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Financial support is available to eligible SC, ST, BC, EWS and minority students through the Andhra Pradesh fee reimbursement scheme and the National Scholarship Portal.

Lendi Institute vs ANITS vs MVGR College of Engineering

LIET, Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences at Bheemunipatnam, and MVGR College of Engineering in Vizianagaram are common choices for engineering applicants in the Vizag-Vizianagaram region. Each is a private autonomous, NAAC-accredited institution affiliated with either JNTU GV or JNTUK. They also draw applicants from the same AP EAPCET pool.

MVGR has the longest history among the three colleges, having opened in 1997, and it holds a NAAC A+ grade. ANITS is nearer to Visakhapatnam city, which can appeal to students seeking closer access to industry. LIET competes in the same AP EAPCET rank range through its four NBA Tier-1 departments and its record of more than 676 placements in 2025-26.
