Although the area of our campus is less it has good infrastructural facilities. MEC is one of the very few institution which has idea lab and fab lab facilities. Our college has a vast library and students can easily access books and journals. Clubs academic as well as non-academic are very active. They conduct various activities and programs regularly for the upliftment of students. THUDI, THANAL, MACS, IEDC, TINKERHUB etc are some examples of clubs working in MEC. College gives sufficient importance to arts and sports. Arts and sports events are conducted every year in college. EXCEL is the annual teach fest conducted in MEC. MEC also participates in various inter college tournaments and have a very strong team for all. College hostel is there for student's accommodation. They also provide quality food there. Hostel fees is almost 4000 per month including food. There are many private hostels and rented rooms around the college at affordable rates.

The campus is small compared to other government colleges. It has a good library and a College hostel is also available but a limited number of seats. College buses are also available on some routes There is a reason why so many entertainment and technical clubs also.

The technical and cultural fest will be conducted every even semester there will be a one-month gap between the success and cultural fests both will be of very good quality and conducted in a very good manner the library facilities are very good and offer a wide range of books to move on with all the classrooms are occupied by facilities like projector laptop and all the colleges very good cricket football and basketball team and they make the participate in inter-campus tournaments. There are a lot of student clubs and communities available in the college you can choose where you want to be as you wish. All clubs and communities or run by students themselves

One of the most beautiful and famous festivals is our tech fest Excel which was conducted on March 3. The fest, arts, and sports are the most beautiful time phase in our college. But we have limitations because our is small however our program was amazing in this situation also

Yeah if you can make pretty good friends the campus will be very lively there is a men's hostel here, and maybe accommodation is quite tough but life is very nice here we have mainly one tech event Excel around Feb march and arts and sports around April

Campus Life is wonderful but campus size is very small considering cusat.but still its a good college with lots of clubs .but nss is the worst not recommending nss because they a group of blockheads.

Campus life is good. There are hangout spots within college like Casa, Elga, Figa, etc. Clubs and societies are student-run and active throughout the year. They conduct activities which students can participate or volunteer for. There is a national level tech fest held by the college annually 'Excel'. It includes 3 days of fun activities, workshops, games, talk sessions, competitions, expos, concerts and so on. Books, PYQs, project reports, etc are available in the college library.

Government Model Engineering College provides an excellent campus life for its students. There are a lot of clubs active in the college which provides its students with the maximum exposure and experience. Every year the annual tech fest is hosted at the end of the year being December mostly.Arts and sports fest are conducted at the end of even semester every year.

Excel is the only tech fest that done on the odd semester. It will also done on any month between december to march.Many workshop are conducted on this events with proper valued certificates. It will improve the skills.

Our campus is very small. Infrastructure is very small. Hence it is hard to conduct various events in our College. We only have two blocks. And a ground. Our highest technical event is Excel which happens every year in the month of December. We also have a library which is open everyday. Almost all the classrooms have digital board.
