It's a tier 1 college and it's in prime centre of Kerala kochi . It has a good reputation.good faculty.fees is considerably less for the reputation of the college highly recommend. only downside is small college

MEC boasts a strong alumni network that sponsors towards the infrastructure of the college as well as contributes towards events and placement activities. The college has a strong placement cell and training cell to equip students with skills required for placements through aptitude tests, coding tests, group discussions and mock placement drives. During admission time, we had to meet up with the principal with our parents. No other procedures like group discussions, interview, written tests,etc. Admission to the college is sought through KEAM examination. Lateral Entry is applicable too (through 2nd year).

Placement opportunities is the most eye-catching thing about this college. That is the main factor I've considered while taking admission here. Admission to the college is through Merit, management and NRI seats of which NRI is filled by college itself and other two are by KEAM qualifying examination.

The best fact about the college is the placement statistics and its team of well-trained faculties the admission to the college is completely based on the entrance test and the cut-off is very high, the entrance test is called KEAM. The only bad aspect about the college is the very limited area of the campus as the college is located in the heart of the city. Admission to our college is based on the score of the KEAM exam conducted by the Entrance Commission of Kerala. There were no group discussions or interviews for the admission process. Admission is only based on the KEAM rank. KEAM is a comparatively easy entrance exam that also considers our plus two marks for the final score. The factor that attracted me to my college is its placement statistics. It has one of the best placement records in Kerala. The academic performance of students is also excellent in our college. Currently, MEC is in third position in terms of overall pass percentage in the list of colleges under KTU. The only negative I felt about the college is its area. It is a small campus compared to others so the scope for entertainment within the campus is limited.
